Of all the united players that played for their countries only a few came out with much credit.
Shaw and maguire were the standouts
Ddg rash Bruno hendo sancho hardly played or didn't play
Lindelof did OK
Mctom did OK mainly used as a cb.
James did OK
At least we won't have crap excuses for the beginning of the season that our players are knackered.

Spot on Ken, this tournament has just highlighted how poor our squad really is. Everyone knows international football is played at a slower pace making it easier than EPL football. Yet still many of our players were good enough to get into their national sides, and the ones that did were fairly average.

But like you say, this bang average squad at least shouldn't be too tired at the start of next season.

As Kev mentioned above 3 of our players were in the team of the tournament, out of 624 players at the euro's 3 of the best 11 play for United.

Don't understand at all how Pogba made team of the tournament. The number of times he gave the ball away in really bad positions or just didn't bother tracking back and let his defence face an extra unmarked man. A handful of hollywood passes and a nice goal just isn't enough to make up for it.

GDS I think that highlights the strength of our current team and squad. Not sure what shappy is on about. 3 out of 11 play for United, 624 players in the tournament 🤯.

I don't think any United players stood out at all apart from Shaw and that's down to some assists and a goal. He still goes to sleep and is out of position often but he's improving all the time. Maquire was consistent but I still don't think he's the solution, he's slow, clumsy looking and puts players into trouble with his passing out from the back. Would much prefer Torres with say Varane. Pogba was good in an attacking sense yet still poor defensively, probably won't be with us for the start of the season anyway. No body else got much game time at a all. James very average at a higher level of opponent. Yes Fred had a good copa apparently. Lindelof weak for Sweden proved again by the goals they conceded. I'm not quite sure what the euros says about our squad? Maybe pretty average and not great in areas.

Don't entirely agree with the real one, but it's better than the fake one IMO. Shaw deserved to be in it, but so did Spinazzola, so understandable decision there. Not sure how Walker got in there though!

We only have 1 in the 11 in the official UEFA team, there seems to be a few different teams out there, the one I saw yesterday definitely had Shaw, maguire and pogba in it. Today’s only Maguire made it, i thought he had a fantastic tournament and proved that any team he plays for is better with him in it, as if the last 6 games of last season didn’t prove that enough.
