As a man in my 30's I must admit I woke up extra early this morning excited like a child on Christmas morning wanting to sneak a peak under the Christmas tree.

I'm not sure if signing Ronaldo was the best move the club could make from a tactical point of view. I still look at our midfield and sigh.

Yet from a fan point of view, the excitement that Ronaldo brings, he is worth every penny. I can't wait until 3pm.

Although we know there is a glaring hole in the midfield, Ronaldo would certainly lift the entire squad just by his presence.
His hunger and desire will squeeze extra 5% out of every player making us a better team.

With the array of attacking talents we have, let's get the fear factor back at Old Trafford.

TRD, I agree that with Ronaldo along with our other attacking players that teams will really fear us now.

That said they may respond by dropping deep and playing a low block more often. If they do and we have McFred trying to move the ball around quickly and intelligently in midfield then those attacking players might not get the ball when they want it in the areas they can hurt the opposition.

At the moment we have all the components of a F1 car in both defence and attack, but we are running a Robin Reliant engine in the middle which might well stop us getting the most out of the other components of the side.

That said just seeing Ronaldo walk out at Old Trafford in the famous red shirt with the No.7 on his back will bring chills. I never thought it would happen again.

And I agree he will demand and inspire an extra 10% from everyone.

Left my lads at the airport this morning at 4 am. They are using box today with 4 pals. Super excited.

Said before I would make Ronaldo captain for the day and let him lead the team out. I expect OT will be bouncing this afternoon. I was there for his original debut and this has been hyped somewhat higher. Need to watch for Newcastle being motivated by it but we need to start sweeping away teams. To those going, enjoy!
