I for one, almost hope we go out of champions league sooner rather than latter. Not because I want to see further humiliation of this great club, but create time and space for gap filler coaches and interim manager space for "squad recovery" and to work. The league is well beyond us this season.
Ultimately the league, and league performance levels are at the core of everything football wise and I would like to see time for this to be done without worrying too much about shiny trophies and CL qualification this year. This should, if time is used wisely put us in a good position to compete on all fronts next season.
I know it won't happen unless there is a football equivalent of the tooth fairy, because the glazers' cash cow takes priority over football but, that is what I hope for.

Na we now have a chance in a competition. Chelsea sacked lampard and won the champions league, we don’t need to sack a season If we have a class manager.

The longer we stay in the Champions League the better, we still need to show we are an important club competing at that level.

Why would you want to go out. Always a chance in a cup comp now that ole is gone hopefully our players will be alleles allowed to play a different way with different personell.

Fairly sure we will get through, even with defeat on Tuesday we are through with a win at home to Young Boys. Things might look very different at the club by February.
