Not here to take the piss

Obs sir Alex was an unbelievable manager to get the best out of what most believe is a mediocre team (not like the quality you had in the 90's) and moyes isn't a "bad" manager but clearly there's work to be done to restore you fellas.

Would you back moyes in the summer or prefer paying the wedge for simeone (spelling) or the likes?

I'm asking, in an ideal world (barring buck lol) who would you like as manager

Allseeingaaiiii

1.) Well, I don't think it has any bearing on what we think. Moyes will be here until Christmas, if he is doing poorly by then after spending then he is gone. Simeone and Pep are the two best managers in the world in my opinion, both of whom I would love. Klopp is also one. But for now, let's back Moyes.

2.) A team containing the like's of Kagawa, Mata, RVP, Rooney, De Gea etc, and who have the best away record in the premier league, doesn't constitute a mediocre team. If we would have had a little bit of luck at home this season, we would be fighting for a champions league spot at worst.

Moyes' will be given the funds to add what he needs to the team to get us challenging again.
I am convinced that with the right signings, we can win the league next season.

3.) Quite a question. I believe before the Bayern games ( along with the good wins over Villa and Newcastle ) most fans wanted him out asap.

I'm of a different view. I believe that we played better at Newcastle and Aston Villa because Rooney was playing as a striker not as a number 10, while Mata and Kagawa were given freedom.

Fact is we are playing better without RVP in the team. When he comes back, I'd like to see if Moyes has the stones to drop one of them to the bench. Our current decent run of form and good football would probably never have happened had RVP and Rooney both been in the team.

And never mind what Moyes does this season, if we have not improved massively over the next season ( top 3 with good football ) then we should sign the next top class manager on the market ( Klopp, De Boer, Van Gaal, Jens Keller and Simeone, in that order ).

4.) Fair play for the replies, thanks fellas

There's still quality in that team, but I think your right about Rvp.

Always bothered me why little pea doesn't get get a good run

Anyhow cheers

5.) Mick, we started playing better football when we beat Olympiakos, thanks to a hat-trick by Van Persie. From then onwards we got a bit of our mojo back and we have been playing better football. If Van Persie didn't get injured, we would be playing even better now. In the Olympiakos game RvP was just getting back to 100%. I think RvP would have got us several goals between then and May if he hadn't been injured. if we had Van Persie at 100% for the BM tie it would have been much closer. The amount of times Welbeck and Rooney fluffed their lines.

6.) Mick, DM didn't have the balls to keep Buttner in the side when Evra is leaving this summer anyhow. Evra had a massive part to play in all four goals on Wednesday.

I have read somewhere that MU have stepped up their interest in Arias. What do you make of him Mick? And with Varela and Janko knocking on the door of the first team, is Rafael's day's numbered?

7.) Kagawa and Matas best games have come when rvp was not in the team

8.) Mata's and Kagawa's best games have been since the Olympiakos game, when the team got their mojo back.

9.) Kagawa best game for me where Norwich and against the Germans in the group stages .
He played off Rooney in both games I've yet to see him have a good game with rvp to be honest

10.) Jred, I cannot think of a single occasion where kagawa has played off of Van Persie. To be fair Kagawa hasn't played off of anyone much, but he does do well when he plays there.

We have some good players and I would love to see them all fit and playing well together. This season it seems when things are starting to look good for a player, they get injured.

What would you change to our line-up? Attacking wise? I think our fullbacks restrict what Moyes wants to do. I think Moyes would pack the midfield if the fullbacks were good enough getting forward and back.

11.) The front line is ok the rest is average

12.) So when you say speed, you mean like a busy midfielder like Gundogan or Herrera? I haven't seen much of this Carvalho, but isn't he quick at moving the ball on? Is Kroos slow?

13.) Mick1

With all due respect if we are going to change managers then simoene has achieved more than all the guys you have listed ahead of him.

Where are De boer s credentials and Ajax and the dutch league is not really anything to back that.
