Moyes need to realise this:
Wellbeck & Young not world class.
Hernandez & Kagawa are world class.
Why moyes can't realise that??

Ash-da-1

1.) Kagawa has the potential to be very very good, but has yet to prove himself in the PL. Hernandez world class? I have to disagree. Sorry, but "world class" is a phrase too readily used these days. The only Unites players anywhere near world class are RVP, and a fit and in form Rooney.

2.) The only world class players in that team now are Rooney and RVP.
The rest are either good players or average.

3.) Sorry that was "United players". Unforgiveable!

4.) Simmo, Messi, Ronaldo and Xavi would be laughing their balls off at the thought of Wayne being on the same level as them.

As Betty says, the term 'world class' is bandied about far too easily nowadays.

5.) StevieK, I agree that the phrase world class is bandied about far too often but Rooney, in my opinion, is one of the 3 world class players in our team in. He may have had a poor season last year, I am one of those currently retreating on what I said about selling him and him being past it, but he has come firing out of the blocks this year and I think that Messi, Ronaldo and Xavi would all readily agree that a fit and on form Rooney is one of the best players in the world, ie world class.

6.) And calling rooney world class isn't saying he is on the same level as those 3. Calling him world class is saying that he is in the top 3% (or thereabouts) of footballers in the world which is more than just 3 people

7.) Steve, IMO Rooney is up there with the best of them. He has not shown the consistency of the players' mentioned, but the guy is definitely world class.

I can recall a period when Rooney was better than Ronaldo; but Ronaldo worked harder and got better, while Rooney has not progressed consistently over the same period.

8.) When focused and in form Rooney is right up there with the best in the world steviek

9.) StevieK

When did I mention that they were in the same league as Xavi, Messi and Ronaldo.
I said they were world class not as good as or better then the three players mentioned.
Rooney is easily one of the top 10 footballers in Europe when fit and on his game and RVP isn't far behind.
I bet if you were to ask Messi, Ronaldo and Xavi they would put you straight and say Rooney is in fact a world class player.

10.) Meow snappy simmo lately

11.) No, mate. I still think they'd laugh their balls off.

StevieK

12.) And you said he was world class. Those three are proper world class players. Therefore you are claiming he is in the same league as them. No? Or am I missing something?

StevieK

13.) Everyone is aware there is more than 5 players in the world that can be classed as worldclass, although I agree the term gets banded about way to much for most players we can't be to anal about the term either, Rooney is easily worldclass when he's head is right and in form

14.) Chris, is that why all the top teams in the world, were queuing up to sign him? Oh, wait.
