Hey! Long-time enjoying this site.
but first time posting! So be gentle :)
Disgusted like many with jeering of Fellaini tonight! Poor fella looked like he didn't even realise the 'cheers' were ironic! That was the worst part!
Took his goal really well and made some tackles too-would like to see him succeed but even at the WC I felt he was awful. and I'd worry we'd never sign the CM's needed if he stays!
Have been excited by the new dawn since LVG was announced and can't complain too much with the start made in friendlies but it's plain to see we are still some way short in terms of back-up at WB;CB and CM.
I say back-up but who knows if Valencia and Young can do a job there over time! Tony was dreadful at RB at times over last few seasons!
The real quality additions seem to be passing us by (fabregas;kroos;sanchez;mangala;garay;hummels;reus. vidal-!?) and we can all only speculate on why. but it's worrying! It's plain to see what we need-let's hope it's not another summer of discontent because it really is an opportunity to make a fresh strong start and learn from not only last summer but so many others recently!
Anyway. onwards&upwards!

Ha, only joking. I agree with what your saying we have let quality slip.
I have always believed we need the top quality players if we want to compete for the title. We can't rely on versatile players.
2.) Good post chopper but if we don't buy two world class midfielders a proven cb and world class winger, then it will be onwards but NOT upwards!

Two world class midfielders, where are you going to play them? Instead of Herrera who looks a breath of fresh air?
