Having watched the game and read some of the posts I thought I'd have my say. For me RVP is very much off the boil. His chance in the second minute would have been buried last season, had he lifted his head he would have the keeper had sold himself early! He contributed little in open play and, for me, I'd have left Mata on behind Rooney. To say Mata looked lost, I didn't see that, in fact he played RVP a few times and he's always looking for the ball. Vidic, again in my opinion, repeatedly lost Giroud throughout the match, in open play and from set plays. I thought Smalling played well and handled Giroud much better, when called upon. The Cleverly and Carrick bashing surprises me at times. They both outplayed and in fact dispossessed Wilshire countless times. Cleverly is no Xavier but for me, he's busy, he puts a shift in and as is the united way, he gets constantly slaughtered no matter how he plays. Moyes wasn't my first choice but the fact is that several players have let him down over and over again this season. These players won the league in April last year and it's time they stood up to be counted or collect their p45 in June and thanks for your service. Sir Alex refused to address midfield and left back for a long time, Moyes has tried to immediately and I believe he will in the summer. Then he can be judged but in my opinion there are several in that squad who have forgotten the privileged position they hold and are happily collecting their pay for some very mediocre performances! Rant over.

Vidic was poor and has been for most of the season. He made a good clearance towards the end but for me he constantly lost his man again. Add that to his performance on Saturday and against Chelsea and he's been very disappointing. As for tactics, if RVP had been ruthless the game would have been comfortable. It's an easy thing to throw at Moyes every week, but I could see him screaming at them to get forward throughout the game!
