Ed, Everyone seems so sure that Ronaldo wants to come back to United, Can you confirm, United are trying to re-sign Ronaldo, And do you think this dream could come true? {Ed004's Note - I can't}

1.) I honestly don't believe he will come, as much as he loves and misses the club I think he is playing us off against rm and now Monaco. He just wants to be no 1 and well respected, oh and a bit more lolly. If I'm honest I don't think he will ever return. (sorry guys). Just my opinion. I would love it if I was wrong :-)

2.) Does he really want to move to Monaco where he won't play in the champions league. Even if he does the following yr, he will be nearly 30

3.) The reason Ronaldo wants a move back to the EPL is all about ego. He will never be called the best player in the world while he is in the same league as Messi. The EPL is the only league other than Spanish that has the worldwide coverage. He is also pretty much gauranteed the money here aswell.

4.) Ronaldo will go to the highest bidder, i'm afraid

Ed in your opinion are Garay & Stootman done deals? {Ed004's Note - I reckon they are very likely}

2.) Dylan it's fair enough if you don't think Strootman is good enough, But you don't need to post it everytime he's mentioned

3.) No recognised news agency is running this story it's old news yet you seem to have convinced yourselves its a done deal.

I agree with you in essence that Strootman isn't good enough, but my opinion is based on a few years ago, and I haven't watched too much dutch football in the last year or so, consequently I'm not saying much on the subject and will be very happy to change my opinion if and when we do sign him. but to claim that RVN or VDS would know something, let alone mention it to the press if they did know is ridiculous. someone on this forum mentioned a few days ago that current players rarely have any idea what is going on in terms of transfers, so to suggest that these 2 former players would have any inkling of what is happening at OT now is absurd, and they definitely wouldn't mention it to the press. I didn't hear RVN or VDS mention sh1t all before we bought buttner or RVP but we still got them, and they too are dutch.

5.) My main point is regarding recognised news agencies however both ex players have had plenty to say about Moyes DeGea Van Persie and opportunities to discuss Strootman.
When we where linked with Wesley every Tom Van Dick & Harry mouthed off!
Now I know that deal didn't come off but you can't deny there was genuine interest from Sir Alex.
I just don't feel that desire to sign Strootman exists at OT

hey Ed, Was just wondering I have been hearing a lot of reports and reading a lot of speculation that Sir Alex will offer 36M for James Rodriguez in the Summer with Nani going the other way. Is there any thing solid about this news? {Ed002's Note - You want to ignore anything you hear with numbers in it. An offer of £36M would be enough to buy him I would expect.}

I'm very intrested at Academy level and I know United have got some of the best players at academy level in the country, However I'm hearing a lot about this Joshua Spence kid, He is 17 years of age and is ripping it up at Academy level and International Level for his age group, He is currently signed with QPR academy but I have heard he is a lifelong United supporter and it is his dream to play for United, Also hearing about intrest from overseas from Barcelona, Ajax, Real Madrid, Fenerbache, But I apparently he has his heart set on a move to United, Know anything about this anyone.

1.) What level Internationally does he play?

2.) I think there could be a chance. He wouldn't be my first choice, but he would certainly provide us with the bite and drive our midfield is currently lacking.

He has said that Moyes sees him ulitmately as a defensive midfielder, but has played him as a no. 10 due to lack of other options.

He himself sees himself as a no. 6 or no. 8.

So with us far from sort in the attacking third of the pitch, i'm sure if he was signed it would be to play alongside Carrick and not off the front man.

I think he could be a good signing even though he would be expensive and possibly other slightly better options imo.

Sir Alex has also said it will be down to Moyes to decide who he brings in. So a move for Fellaini is a possiblity.

3.) Not a chance would I have him around the team poor player, total waste of money which would be better spent on technically classier players. Maybe you like a bit of park football long an high and kick the legs of them.

He's better than most give him credit for. Only Evra and Carrick from our team have completed more passes this season than Fellaini. And only Rafael has completed more successful tackles out of all our players. He is a good player, but I think he will cost more than he should.

I'v also been told this morning by an Evertonian customer that Everton are expecting United to come in for Fellaini.
