Who has he said this to, your dog? There is no way a player would say a thing like that at this point of the season while under contract at another club. Please think before you post in the future.

Fair point Pancho. If you look at his record at Everton for transfers you would see that his best buys have been bargain price players and I think that is where he excels. I really don't think he has it in himself to go out and spent 10's of millions on a player and therefore I don't see his time at Man U being much of a success (how ever long it may prove to be).
I love your comment that Moyes "is still in a Everton manager frame of mind". Everton were only in that frame of mind because that's how Moyes made us, not because that's how we are as a club. Look where we are this year with pretty much the same players but a more adventurous thinking manager.
I have great respect for what Moyes did for us and turned us from relegation contenders to a top half team most seasons but I fell that that's the kind of manager he is i.e. plays safe.
I'm afraid that the United job may well be to big and he will screw up what was a great reputation prior to taking the job.
What most Manchester United fans are completely forgetting is that Moyes very rarely played Barkley while he was at Everton and that was only last year! He certainly never gave him a run of games like Martinez has. What makes you all believe that Moyes would play him now? He was this good when Moyes had him and that made no difference to him.
