Ed, what is Clement Grenier's current situation? Is he moving this summer, reports say he's on his way to the Emirates. Looks very promising. {Ed002's Note - Lyon's Grenier is of interest to AC Milan, Arsenal, Juventus and Chelsea at the right price. The right price for Lyon is considerably higher when Chelsea and other EPL teams are interested and it will quite possibly price him out of the market. OL would like to keep him.}

Ed, what is the transfer situation with Gonalons at Lyon. He has had a very good season in France. {Ed002's Note - On a number of occasions Frederic Guerra has said that Gonalons would only leave Lyon for Real or Napoli. He has taken over as captain but Arsenal and Monaco are pressing for a deal for this summer.}

Thats a shame, he is a wonderful player who could really do a job here. But if he has his sights set on somewhere else then it would be best to let him be.

2.) Real or napoli I understand real, but napoli

Ed002, is there any interest from Chelsea in Rooney? Some journos have been saying this. {Ed002's Note - Not that I am aware.}

Ed002, does the signing of Gotze detract from Munich's interest in Bale, Suarez and possibly Lewandowski, or or are they interested in having a completely different front four next season? {Ed002's Note - I would remove Lewandowski from that list and add Falcao. The only thing I understand that changes is interest in Oezil.}

MASK

1.) Ed002; so they are interested in Suarez, Bale and Falcao, and no longer have interested in Ozil (and never had any in Lewandowski)?

Thanks {Ed002's Note - They are interested in a number of players.}

2.) Ed002, was all of this BM/Lewandowski "deal done" stuff, the media hearing about talks between BM & Dortmund and assuming it was Lewandowski?

Also, who do you think out of Bale, Falcao & Suarez do you think BM will turn their attentions to next? In your opinion of course. Does this Suarez ban change the timings perhaps.

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - These are questions for elsewhere S.}

3.) But but but the Liverpool boys gang up on me : (

Ha ha, I love it really ;)

Sydney!

4.) A different topic Ed, but how much will Strootman be available for? 15, 20m? {Ed002's Note - I really would rather avoid discussing money as it causes confusion.}

What do people make of Andre Schurrle? I'm not saying we're interested or anything, but he looks a good young player who can play out wide or in an attacking mid role. Ed002, do you know approximately how much he would cost, if he is going to leave this summer? {Ed002's Note - There is every chance he will move this summer - a couple of bids around €20M were previously rejected.}

MASK

1.) I have said for the last 12-18 months he would be a class option for the left side of an attack instead of Rodriguez or Gaitan. For his price aswell it would be perfect.

2.) Hes almost definatly going to end up at chelsea so I wouldn't get your hopes up

3.) Potential to maybe become a very good player. But I don't think he will ever be world class. Would be an excellent squad player for Chelsea.

But United should look out for players like Rodriguez. We need more creativity.

How poor has Michael Carrick been this season? Tbf everyone has, but he seems to have lost what little mobility he already had, his passing has been off and he just makes the same repetitive movements time after time. It is clear we need two midfielders, because unfortunately MC seems past it.

MASK

1.) Hes been terrible and for some reason plays every game and never gets taken off. Just shows how bad our midfield really is and Felaini can't surpass him.

2.) Wow talk about esp :)

I was wondering how many people on here would have gone for or thought it was worth a punt taking Wanyama from Celtic. The 12m he cost Southampton looks a very good price and I for one would have tried to get him. Someone with Champs League experience, worth the money or not?

MASK

1.) None of the top clubs were interested in him mate. Think that says a lot don't you?

kdevil10

2.) Nobody was interested in Michu but look how that turned out. Its called a gamble and unless clubs take a gamble they will never reap the rewards. I bet he will have an excellent season for the saints!
James.

With possibly 3 CMs departing this summer, (Ando, Scholes, Fletch) I think that Fergie may resort to having to play Jones there next season along with Cleverley and Carrick. However 3 isn't enough and I have a hunch that rather than shelling out millions he may just go for Lampard as the 4th.

MASK

1.) Rooney will drop back to midfield (unfortunately) so with jones, carrick and clev you will have 4 and back up coming from the youth, also anderson may not get sold (either for this reason or simply lack of buyers) so 1 midfielder coming in, most likely being strootman, would be more than sufficient

Bit of football manager, but here goes:

Outs:
Rooney, Nani, Valencia, Anderson, Lindergaard, Macheda. (55m)

Ins:
Lewy, Strootman, Gundogan, James.
(85m)

Net spend 30m. Not too unrealistic.

MASK

1.) Left with 3 wingers at the club

2.) Young, James, Zaha, Welbeck, Kagawa, Januzaj can all play wing/wide.

3.) Three wingers is plenty, its midfielders we're short of.
Nomidfield

4.) I think with those players in we'd be a serious force in the champions league.

5.) Quiet possible james would be expensive and probably won't come but the other three are very very possible

What if Fergie wants Lewandowski so badly despite our no of strikers is because he'll convert him into a holding mid, like he's done with every other forward player. Lol.

MASK

1.) LMAO.

You were right, it is a stupid question.

Especially at home Moyes gets Everton playing high intensity football, with good use of the wingers and they pin other teams in, which is more exciting than seeing Xavi and Busquets exchanging about a million 1-2s in their own half.

Honeybadger - that is ideal tbh. Rodriguez looks an outstanding talent and looks to be on his way to the top. However, if we have signed Zaha, and we may well sign Rodriguez aswell, I think another winger as well as Nani will depart, as we will have 5 wingers and possibly 5 strikers fighting for 4 places, ad although competition and depth is very good, that seems excessive. It may well be Valencia.

But my point Ports is SAF may want real wide men on the wings, e.g Valencia and Young and a striker dropping in i. e Rooney. A 4-2-3-1 usually consists of players who are more central and drift in on their favoured foot, Mata, Gotze, Rodriguez.
