G'day to all.
How much truth there is in what Spanish and Serbian papers are saying regarding Benfica's midfielder Nemanja Matic being on his way to Old Traford?
Perhaps this former Chelsea boy has as predicted finaly matured in to a strong CM and his strong performance this season with the Portugese team has attracted SAF attention?

Hopefully not alot, he is a decent player but not a great one. We keep getting linked to loads of Benfica players as we have scouts at their games, but as the press don't know who they are their to watch they just speculate. So they've linked us to Gaitan, Garay and Matic as we have had defensive problems this year, we need a LW as Giggs is getting older, and we need a replacement for Scholes. If I was to put money on it I would say it was Gaitan we are watching, we have a confirmed interest in him and often watch players for 2/3 years before signing them.
