CTR really hope everything turns out alright. You have everyone behind you on this no matter what team they support. Football is nothing compared to this. You have a lot of positive thoughts going you and your family's way.

Liverpool fan here,
Haven't even came on here to gloat as I don't think there is any need when you have moyes in charge.
I watched the game tonight. Wow it was appalling. But what was worse is his team selection. When I saw the team I was shocked. That's most probably one of the easiest parts of being a manager but he picks two of the most uncreative midfielders in your team which resulted in Rooney having to play there.
Kagawa, fellani (he could play), and most importantly januzaj? That player is sheer quality and he won't play him?!
I slightly felt sorry for my Man U mate sitting there today with his head in his hands but then I realised it's united and I couldn't of hoped for moyes to do any worse ;)

Just saw the debate about who's the best manager and I wanted to get in on the action.
The reason I would agree with pea shooter about br is because:
The style of football played is fast and attractive football.
The amount of goals Liverpool are scoring 6-0 and 4-0 against spuds and Everton.
People skills and gives the kids a chance and plays them if they are playing well. United have an amazing kid and moyes is on and off playing him?! Why! He's quality.
Tactician he changes formation depending on the game which Martinez failed doing against Liverpool.
Syd they are my reasons although it's very close between who's the best manager because you need a team with the same calibre of players to really compare
1.) RedTwist, bringing kids through is all well and good, but Brenda's hand was forced in that regard, due to the weakness of his squad, especially last season.
Ideally you want to blood them gradually, which, for all we want to see Adnan play every game, is just not going to happen. Managers have to think about the long-term consequences for the players, of playing them too much, too soon.
I studied in Aberdeen many years ago, and some up there still haven't forgiven Fergie for supposedly ruining quite a few young lads by playing them too much.
2.) There's a lot Rodgers has done to make his stock rise and a lot he's done to weaken it. Credit where credits due, he's done fantastically well to clear the dross out of Liverpool, the high earners like Cole and the players he doesn't rate like Carroll. But I don't think we have a clear picture of his style yet. His transfers have been hit and miss and he doesn't help himself by talking pony most of the time but he's a good manger with very good potential. There's a need in football to make a judgement about everything now! There's an old chefs saying, it's not how you start it's how you finish. Will everyone be raving about him at the end of the season if they finish 6th, maybe not.
Even though I don't like the man Mourinho is the best manager out there. There's always a raise in most players games when he's in charge. Can he do it over the space of 6 or 7 years at one club though it begs to be seen. Is he going to be a one club man or is he just like Viagra, extreme short term gain but leaving lasting side effects.

I've got to admit Sydney! In the summer when you couldn't stay away from the Liverpool site you was annoying but now looking back you saying that United would finish 30 points above us makes this league so far even more sweet! So thank you! Were all missing you on the Liverpool site btw :(

I'm sorry but you clearly no nothing about football and are just clearly extremely bias. Saying sterling has no intelligence is ridiculous when playing in centre attacking possession takes more vision and intelligence then a wider. Sterling is 19 not early 20s
I'm a Liverpool fan but when watching januzaj he was your only bright spark on the pitch. Him and sterling have both got immense potential however there is no way of determining who has the potential to be better. What if one of them get a nasty injury?
Suarez and Gerard are world class. I'm sorry but Gerrard has adapted to that role amazingly fast and is playing that role superbly already. Our team are not "average" they are all great players but the difference is we have passion which money can't buy. The scholes comment is laughable.
Unsurprisingly you haven't mentioned all the terrible decisions that has gone man city's way this season. You also forgot to mention the two penalties we could of had. Although suarez did dive at one point which wasn't good to see.
As JR said we got 3 points so very happy. Bit hypocritical as a united fan the amount of games you won last year and played poor was uncountable. We also played better then you first half and defended very well second barley gave you a chance.
