Does anyone else think it is ridiculous that we are considering spending 15-20M on Leighton Baines?
Secondly I find it crazy that clubs are only valuing Wayne Rooney at between 20-25M.
Also to all the dreamers out there, Ronaldo will not be returning to old trafford and it would be far wiser to spend the money required to secure his return on 3-4 top players, 2 central midfielders, 1 winger and maybe a left back.
1.) Not crazy at all. he's one of the best left backs around and with plenty of experience.
what's more, he has the potential to push on and become even better at utd.
even more importantly he's buyable and he's better than what we already have
have I convinced you?
2.) I would much sooner keep evra for another year, giving buttner more opportunities and possibly the silva. evra has had one of his better seasons. 20M on a 28 year old left back to me seems a bit much especially when the money could be spent better elsewhere

I have been reading this site for over 3 years and always appreciate your views. But atm you are continuing to champion cleverley who in my opinion should only be a squad player and would barely make the bench of any other top 6 team. Also you are pushing for the signing of an aging baines when we already have evra, fabio and buttner. You say you are all about giving the youth a chance so why not give buttner and fabio their opportunity? baines is worth 12m tops but this money could be spent better elsewhere like midfield.
