Just seen Moons post about Berba, there's no denying he is a skilful player but do you think he could have been moulded into the midfield distributer or skilful AM we seem to be crying out for?

no, while undoubtedly highly talented he does not show now and never did show it consistently over a long period of games,, in fact he never showed it consistently in 1 game. flashes of brilliance but he never showed the right mentality to be a true great
2.) He was the laziest player I've seen for a long time. I never liked him due to his attitude. Waste of money.
3.) Sorry Nomidfield he was worth every penny apart from something like 30 goals 1 season he got 3 at anfield so although he didn't do as well as he should he still brought something to the show
4.) I think fulham fans are starting to think he is lazy now also. Great skill and ability but I wanted a bit more from him in some games.
5.) It looks like he's been chain smoking all summer judging from the first few games of this season for Fulham. No doubting his talent but was just never prepared to dig in and go that extra mile.
6.) The problem with Berbatov in my opinion was the manner he regarded certain duties. He never wanted to break on the counter and as a result slowed the game down to his own pace. This meant we couldn't utilise certain players to their best.
He was praised by all parties after his move to Fulham as he played with a spring in his step. He was quicker and eager all over the park.
Since th new year he has played deeper than usual for most of the game, with Ruiz coming on late and playing behind Berbatov. The team then plays better so Ruiz gets the praise.
A great player on his day but so terrible inconsistent for us. Yet still worth the money just for the hattrick!

I agree Barkley looks a top talent, he has looked good since he broken into the Everton first team a few years back, one query in regard to Barkley and moyes; would I be right in thinking regardless of the serious injury barkley suffered moyes seems reluctant to play him?
