Just been speaking with a journo whom is very in the know with united, and said there has been a bid submitted by united tonight however "it isn't a very good move" his words. Now whether that means positional or because of the calibre of player. He said he will let me know a bit later on whom it is so I will keep every one updated. I've heard little whispers about Moreno the Crewe youngster! But as I say I will let u know!

I'm not aware of a Moreno at Crewe either. There's a young centre back called Jon Moran, but I haven't seen anything linking him with United.

The source of this rumour seems to be a guy on twitter. Not only do Crewe not have a player called Moreno - but this guy has also 'confirmed' that we've put in about 20 bids for players over the past two days including Kroos (X2), Draxler, Konoplyanka, Koke, Shaw, Mangela, etc. Impossible to believe anything on Twitter.

There are rumours about a bid being made for FC Porto's Nicolas Otamendi.

Apparently we have put a bid of 12.5m for fc Porto's Nicolas Otamendi, who at 25 is at his peak.

He is more commonly known as Chico Flores - but plays for Swansea

Redseven, that bloke is pathetic on Twitter. He calls his tweets world exclusives and they pop up ten minutes after they have been reported elsewhere. Other tweets are just pure fabrication. The guy is a plum, but the followers are probably just as bad for believing him.
