I happen to be in Rome this weekend and am looking forward to watching Nainngolan at the Stadio Olympico tomorrow. He seems like a natural ball winner, not sure he is a deep lying playmaker. But nonetheless he would be very destructive in a midfield three.

I'm sure naingollan plays in the position where Herrera plays.

I would see Naingollan as similar type to De Jong but with better passing. Think he would be ideal in mid 3 with Herrera and then depending on opposition for other player. Carrick for bigger games and let Herrera further forward. Mata for games where opposition will sit deep.

Is this story true of lloris being of interest and us already spoke to Tottenham about it? Seen espy reporting a story

am i the only one not convinced by lloris i think there's better keepers around the pl begovic 3rd best gk in pl in my view! even kasper schmichael as back up to valdes would be a better option ,

The spurs fans love him and I think I would to if he came. He is the best replacement we can get in my opinion.

1.) Any news on anyone we are in talks with? De Bruyne or Hummels?
{Ed002's Note - I am not getting in to any blow-by-blow accounts. De Bruyne won't be looking for a move but paying over the odds for Hummels - perhaps Dortmund would be tempted.}
2.) Can't see it myself, if Hummels was straight forward we would have signed him by now. Us looking at the likes of Otamendi, Laporte, Marquinios etc etc shows that Hummels is not going to happen this winter, or IMO it would have been done by now. Hopefully we will get him in the summer, but no doubt there will be other clubs interested then.
3.) Just heard a funny one on the radio:
"Anderson's move to Brazil could be falling through because he is stuck in the transfer window"
4.) I'm inclined to agree Syd. But hey, until Sneijder retires there is always the possibility of him haha.

now that it looks like lewy is going bayern, if rooney makes way, who is left for us to sign as a forward who is world class
1.) If that was to heppen. I hate to say it but it looks like rooney will end up staying for another year or two. I think we'll miss out on a top striker in lewy. I just hope he doesn't chose bayern over us. wouldn't blame him as bayern are a top team and they're only improving with the additions of gotze and possibly lewy.

2.) Don't get too disheartened Singh, Rooney is a good player and let's not forget what he's done for this club.
You seem to have a downer on him. If he goes to Chelsea, and we end up with a second rate striker, will you be happy?
Come on, playing rubbish as you intimate, he scored 26 goals for us last year. And also playing out of position half of the time, so just sit back and think, be careful what u wish for.
Top strikers are hard to find, if rvp gets injured and Rooney is not there, then I think even you will agree, that we will struggle.
