That time of the season we build up hope being linked with players. We need to buy and we need to do it fast and not leave it to the end of January.

Potential DREAM transfers going of rumours

Goal UK - Lawyers in Madrid for Koke. How about the board go all out here Koke and Diego Costa 60 million bid plus Hernandez. (Better chance of winning the lottery I know)

Adam Lallana situation right now, we can ruffle some feathers with this one. Southampton the ones complaining to the FA not Lallana. Moyes come out talk him up and put in a 15 million bid and potential to add a player such as Anderson, Buttner or Fabio in the deal.

These deals are never coming off, but we need to bring in some enforcements, Alex Song or Baise Matuidi would help bolster the midfield but need to act fast.

Hopefully the end of January we will be in a better situation for now we live in hope.

1.) Jobby, koke and diego Costa will be amazing. I think Costa will be sensational in pl.
If we can then sign a LB then we will have a chance of 4th place.

People. People. People.

ATM are in a very good position in league. they have been brilliant in this season. Koke and Costa singed a contract in the summer. They wouldn't sell anyone in Jan. Or else we will have to Bid a pretty high amount.

The Last time we tried to buy a player was Fabrigas, and everyone know the outcome.

RVP out for a month:

This is Moyes's fault, the game against Newcastle he was only suppose to play him 60 mins played the whole game. If was not fit he should of been on the bench.

Its mismanagement and he does not have faith in the squad players to get the job done.

To me this is another mark against Moyes, I want him to succeed but I can see us making champions league at this rate.

its mismanagement and he does not have faith in the squad players to get the job done

what a load of crap?. do you honestly believe welbeck who has scored less than 10 goals in past two seasons or henrnandez who click once in a full moon to do the job for us?

rvp is 30. do you realise that?. at the age of 30 you are almost done as a striker.

2.) Did you see the Newcastle game? Moyes was shouting to RVP from to bench asking if he could last the 90. He clearly said yes or he'd have been taken off. In fairness you'd probably be complaining had Moyes taken off his best player when we were a goal down. Rvp has been injury prone his whole career. He had 2 seasons where he stayed reasonably injury free maybe this injury is not down to Moyes at all mate.

3.) RVP has always been a sick note, he played one full season for Arsenal because he was after a contract which he got with Man u, Last year he played the whole season to justify his prize tag and most likely Ferguson played him through injections because he knew he would be off. Now, he probably feels he has nothing to prove, contract sealed and off to a nice Christmas break.

4.) Spot on Benny! People would have had problems either way. Moyes can't win. RVP has had muscle injuries throughout his career. Can't really blame Moyes for anything bad that happens to be honest. Did we blame SAF for all the freakish injuries that Wayne suffered last season?

I am not aware of whether Moyes' methods have had a negative impact on Persie's fitness or not. But till the point its not conifirmed, there is no point crucifying him. By the way our fitness experts from last season haven't really changed. Unless you lot are assuming, Fergie gave VP an all soothing massage everynight ;-)

Deeps.

5.) Terrible news and this is when players like Welbeck and Hernandez need to step up and prove their worth.

I hope we play a 4231.

6.) The fitness staff may be the same but that doesn't mean that the fitness regime is necessarily the same. It was quite clear that last season RVP was doing something akin to what Giggs does in terms of keeping himself fit for matchdays, something that obviously hasn't been continued this season.

7.) Jobby

Its mismanagement and he does not have faith in the squad players to get the job done.

Neither do I, mate. Our squad players are of a poor standard and not good enough to win us games. Hernandez is an exception, or was an exception, but he's not as reliable as he once was.

8.) When fit and motivated RVP is lethal, but against Newcastle he was neither. Dropping deep to get on the ball when we can have Cleverly and Januzaj doing the work for him.

30 years old downhill for a striker, do you know of Didier Drogba?

And now we use the excuse he is injury prone, come off it. David Moyes in the interview said he was going to bring him off but did not want to piss the crowd off. Would I off moaned if he came off? NO! we were losing 1-0 and RVP DID NOT EVEN HAVE A SHOT ON GOAL!

Welbeck100% fit and fresh should of come of the bench a chance. That is why we have a squad to rotate.

Now the Moyes managing style stories are coming out from players. This is concerning, if the players don't trust and believe in the manager then what hope do we have on the field.

Rio on BT Sport - Delaying team announcements

For one of our experienced players to be concerned by this change then what is going through the younger ones minds.

Hopefully we will turn the corner against the Toon and January will bring us some good news.

Jobby

1.) Maybe a bigger concern is that Rio went public with his grievance.

I know he likes the limelight but could you imagine the same happening under fergie?

2.) Andrew

Exactly

It indicates to me the players do not buy 100% into what Moyes is doing but to say it publicly is actually undermining the manager. Rio maybe nearing the end of his career but he is very experienced and knows what success looks like and Moyes doesn't

3.) And that's just rio saying that how many more players feel the same way?

This transfer window has been terrible for us whatever you agree or disagree.

Supporting United for over 20 years now and really can I say the team we are building now can challenge for the Champions League? Not a chance.

We have lost out on top players this summer that could of made a huge difference and now we find our self panic buying at the end of the window.

Ander Herrera, really is this kid our answer? 1 goal and 2 assist last season in a league that leaks goals and we are going to drop 36 million euro's.

Compare ourself to Chelsea, Spurs and City, they have invested well and have a great squad to compete in all the competitions.

I hope come Monday at midnight I am proven wrong and we have invested wisely.

Jobby.

Jobby

1.) Other than RVP, this is the same squad who has challenged in the CL for the past 2 years.

Our record has not been good over that time, so don't expect anything this season

Bruno Martins Indi has signed for Porto this window, that would be a huge surprise if we signed him.

Good post Harry, only area of concern is the our main striker.

Yeah Wellebeck is doing well, but cannot see him staying consistent.

If we are to lose Rooney (Transfer) and RVP (Injuries) we need a stronger striker to lead the line.

Christian Benteke would be ideal and he seems to be unhappy at Villa.
