This didn't feel like "One of those days". I'm officially worried.

This has been awful!

Watching the game at the pub today was sad, frustrating, and depressing. We are on the path to mediocrity and those that make excuses are in denial.
Yes the fees are outrageous. Yes some teams have suger daddys. But so what? If you want to be the best you have to do what it what takes to be the best. We are doing nothing!
Many will say "I would support United if we were in the 3rd division", and that's great. But we're not in the 3rd division. We have spent decades building up a club that has the foundation to try and win at all levels year after year.
That foundation is eroding. It makes me sick.
I hope I'm wrong.

1.) A manager with a track record of winning trophies. There are plenty to chose from
2.) There may be plenty to chose from, but none will go to a club that won't release funds to improve the squad. DM was chosen because he worked well with Everton with a penny pinching budget
3.) Milked. That's what I see, Americans running it for profit vs running it for prestige.

And 3 more? We'll be in a relegation fight if that's the state we're in.
Honestly it doesn't seem improbable. Scary.
James McFadden for Scotland vs France, in Paris.
Jono I felt the exact same way. It was embarrassing and depressing.
