Hi, Apparently there are some dodgy rumours from Italy going round that Van Persie's agent met Wenger about a move back to Arsenal, Because RVP doesn't get on with Moyes, (training methods and man management) Has anyone else heard anything hope there's no truth to this, I'd rather have RVP than moyes at United.

TheInvisibleMan

1.) 14 Feb 2014 18:49:09
And that's as manager.

2.) It wouldn't surprise me if all of this happened.

3.) Training method? Rooney fitter than ever, it's all more talk to heap trouble on the club .

4.) 14 Feb 2014 20:53:22
Get behind our manager. Van Persie being spoilt brat.
In Moyes we trust.

5.) I'd rather have Rooney than RVP. If there's even a shred of truth to the rumours that we are interested in Cavani I'd be happy to see RVP leave.

As good as he is - he is injury prone and very selfish. We're lacking pace up front and I'd be happy to see a younger, faster and team-orientated striker at the club.

6.) He dosent look a happy player but who would be in the teams current state, he came to united to win trophies and he won the premier league in his first season, arsenal have been potless for 8 year soon to be 9, I know were i'd rather be even if david moyes dosent know his a** from his elbow. i'd rather see rooney leave over him anyday of the week, van persie up top with mata in the 10 role is mouth watering in my opinion. van persie makes the cleverest runs imaginable and mata along with januzaj are the only ones who seem capable of spotting them.

7.) I read it on a website but it didn't mention training and man management, just that he wanted to go back to arsenal

8.) It'll come to something if we choose to lose our best players rather than the manager if it turns out they don't believe in him.

Then again, that would make us more money than losing our manager.

9.) If he goes he will be close to 31 so the guy is coming to the end of his career so a resale of £15 - 25 million would be great business.
Yes he may have 2 or 3 seasons left but not all as the cream of the crop and if we can replace him and partly fund him with the likes of Cavani it can only be great business for United.

Also on top of his reported discontent it can only be great news all round with some one affecting team morale out of the ranks and a better younger world class talent in the squad.

10.) Seems like these rumours seem to be gathering pace, Bt sport/theMetro/TheMirror all seem to be running with it, I hope its all a load of cr@p to be honest, To Dustbin, Your right Rooney is probably fitter than ever but most people know RVP had his own training programme that worked great last season, Same with Rio, To Redseven, Cavani won't come us if we ain't in the CL, And RVP injury prone because his training regime change, To the In Moyes we trust poster, I did trust Moyes and I have given him along with the rest of us every chance, But he has had 7 months to get it right and he hasn't yet, And that in the modern football world is not good enough, He never seems to have a plan B if things go wrong.

11.) Fair play InvisibleMan you have given him a full 7 months what a patient man united are! What exactly did you expect him to do in 7 months with a poor squad?

12.) Wenger couldn't even beat us in his own back yard, unlike Moyes' he doesn't have the excuse of being in his first season of taking over the biggest job in the world of football. I don't think RvP is that stupid to be honest.

13.) 7 months would be a reasonable time to assess how well a manager is doing at a team like Real Madrid where they've already got lots of talented players, Moyes has a much bigger challenge on his hands, at least needs a full summer window to try bring in necessary players.

14.) To InsideOT - A poor team? Why is it a poor team, What exactly has happened to it since the end of last season, let's see Scholes and Sir Alex retired, The team got a bit older, We bought a RB that wasn't good enough to play, We panic bought a microphoned haired midfielder, Yes we won the community shield and we bought a class midfielder but then decide to play him on the wing when we have a class Belgian youngster who doesn't get to start matches ie Fulham and Arsenal, It is not a poor team by any means yes we need new players as you have to upgrade the team each year, But by saying no one right was available in his first transfer period is rubbish, and we needed a holding midfielder and a defender in the last TP because the team is "poor" but never got them, So in Moyes head he must know the team isn't as bad as people think otherwise he would HAVE to have bought them.

15.) The team has been poor for seasons mate, there have never been the right players brought in in key positions like CM. Just fergie persevering with inconsistent players like Ando and Nani, at least Moyes is starting to clear out the deadwood. It was always going to be difficult this season, he needed time to assess the squad, give him time and we will challenge again. Still really impressed with your patience you must be a proper fan!

16.) I'm a lifelong fan mate, A Stretford End season ticket holder since 1985, And just so you know 99% of the other fans I talk to and hear at the last few matches feel the same way I do, especially the Fulham match, That was the straw that broke the camels back, I was never expecting to win the League or any Cups this season, But I was expecting least fourth in the league mate.

Hi Eds, Was wondering about any chance of beating Arsenal to get Draxler because I've rated him for a long time, Use him as a winger like he used to be instead of a CAM/CF role, Maybe part-ex Valencia or Nani for him.

TheInvisibleMan

{Ed002's Note - I don't see Draxler moving before the summer.}

Just heard Fulham have sacked Meulensteen, Anyone else want him back at United? It might help put some stability back in the team.

TheInvisibleMan

1.) Ask him to pick up Queiroz as well on his way back, the more the merrier :)
