Really looking forward to a positive season the ups an the downs that know doubtfully will accompany it but most of all the positive football i feel we will get this time. Good luck boys let the real manchester united stand up.

Looks to be a good season ahead. I also think Everton will be the highest finishing Scouse side.

How's that possible Mort, I heard this year is Liverpool's year?

3.) 10 Aug 2016 14:16:01
so everton will finish 8th or above?

cant see liverpool finishing higher than 8th maximum this season.

De Gea out of opener looks like it's time to say goodbye if it is I wish him all the best.

Whereas i sympathize with De gea's feelings and yes he has been magnificent for us in the last two years let us remember that he is a highly paid employee of manchester utd, under contract, who do not wish to sell one of their prized assets unless a deal can be done that it is acceptable to them.
As far as i am aware RM have not made any official bid let alone a sensible one and seem to be indulging in their usual practice of trying to unsettle a player to the extent that the selling club will agree to a sale rather than have an unhappy player on their books. Clearly utd may be interested in a deal involving a RM player( probably ramos) but not to a straight cash deal. Unless RM sit down and enter some sensible negotiations then Utd should say, ' sorry david you will give us 1 more year as per your contract and then you are free to leave should you still wish to do so when you will go with our thanks and best wishes'

whats the point of keeping him if he is not in right mental state to play.

Principle. Let him rot in the reserves for 12 months rather than give in to madrids bullying.

Sooner or later the performances or lack of have to effect the profit making side and sponsorship side of things. So surely the 2 sides are intertwined you need performances on the pitch to attract the big sponsors because I'm pretty sure adidas would not of committed such a high sum on what we've seen so far. Just my opinion.
