Im a new poster on this site. obviously before giving my humble opinion on matters concerning Manchester United, I think it only polite that that I get accustomed to the rules. I guess the easiest way would be to ask a few questions and let you good folk who post regularly reply. So here goes
1. Am I duty bound to always have to agree with sydney? (cos I don't always )
2. Is Ed002 the boss on here?

1. Always agree with Sydney. It is ok to disagree but it probably means you are wrong.
2. Ed002 is a lovely lady (or maybe a man) who has to put up with a lot of people asking the same question over and over, has intelligent inside information and gives it as and when is necessary.
Ed007 aka bond (007, geddit?) is a comedy genius and rips apart many posters with classic banter. Supports rangers I think ;)
Ed004 is a united fan I believe, likes to join in the discussion and add his own opinion.

You are free to disagree with Syd although unless you have a few hours on your hands I would recommend agreeing with him is the simpler option ;-)
Ed002 is the boss of everything, not just this site.

Welcome to the site.ill try and answer your questions as well as offer a few other nuggets.
1. Feel free to disagree with Sydney but don't expect to get very far, Syd has a few groupies who hang on his every word. however, he's just a fan like the rest of us.
2. Ed002 doesn't take any nonsense. Despite being asked ridiculous questions every day. Don't ask vague useless questions like 'who are we going to sign', and don't, under any circumstances, discuss money.
3. There are a host of regulars all of whom have their own idiosyncrasies.
4. Banter is great, Mickey taking is great, abuse isn't so great. One or 2 get a tad precious of anyone disagrees with them but this is pretty rare.
5. We have eternal optimists, eternal pessimists, and realists. 1or 2 people do move between the 3 depending on the latest rumour.
6. Fresh is a top man and can be relied upon to start a debate on the rumour of the day.
7. Despite twitter being the biggest load of drivel in the universe, many posters follow loads of people on there in the hope they know something (they don't).
8. According to posters on this site, we are chasing around 45 different players
9. Some posters have real names and have let them slip (HoneyBadger, Sharham, Jono, CTR, me). I'll leave you to work them out as you go.

Hi Welshbull,
Assuming there was no sarcasm intended in your questions, I will answer them as best I can.
1. Sydney has been a poster on this site for many years now, I respect him as a fellow poster/reader and am always interested to read what he has to say. Whether you agree with him or not is within your human rights.
2. Ed002 is one of the editors of the site. I am unsure whether or not she is 'the boss' as such but she is extremely knowledgeable. Ed002 offers a hell of a lot to the site and I'm sure you will enjoy learning from her.

6.) Remember to never EVER say anything negative about the great Wayne Rooney. He has his own security team on here that come out and attack in packs. Personally I think Jred and Deeps are Colleen and his mum but as yet I have been unable to prove this.

Oh and please make sure u agree with Sydney as much as u can, GDS or the banter police as some call him will pull u up from time to time and try and keep u sane, where as Tony enjoys laying little bombs here and there to keep u sharp ;-)
Ed002 well s/he is a part time rodeo clown that is partial to a flower squirt here and there. Jred is Rooney own personal PR machine :-) badger and stevie love a bit of a laugh and i'm yet seen any1 say anything bad about them yet. Shapps well u will get to know him and his long but articulate posts. GCU is very informative and irish paddy is a closet scouser (smiles).
There are plenty of very good posters here luke fresh etc that I have not mentioned ij fear of taking shappys throne away for longest ever.
