Hope all is well ed002 and you had a good weekend. Very sorry to bother you but just saw on the liverpool page your comment that you have a feeling united will make a bid for kephran thuram? Do you see this as still being the case and is it as a back up to amrabat if Mctominay is sold? Thank you as always ed002.

I’d put Andre Onana in CM after last nights performance. How many times did Cunha and Lemina easily run through the middle. Crying out for Amrabat plus another. I was at the game and still have no idea where mount was playing either….

{Ed002's Note - Mount does not play as a DM so yes they will. Onana is not a player that has been looked recently at as far as I know, but he is well liked.}

After Mount, the club will try for Rice and Caicedo- both unlikely as we won’t have any funds available and other teams are moving quickly. Then we will look to Adrian Rabiot on a free one which is the most likely scenario.
I expect a GK to follow - Costa or Onana. Followed by a potracted dialogue with Spurs for Kane. It will depend on how many we have offloaded by then and what the Sheik allows.
Given how the other teams are strengthening I think it will be a tougher ask to get into top4 next year. Shame as if the takeover was done by now we could have looked at a window with Mount, Rice, Kane and Onana. Maybe a RB to add and then gone on for a title challenge.

Thanks as always for your info - first thing I look for when browsing the site several times a day!
Without wishing to complicate things (as I don’t really know how it all works) do you think the takeover is hampering United’s transfer activity in any way? (Ie ability to access credit line or getting board approval, among other things) .
And - sorry but worth trying! - if we get a new owner, might they enable us to have a better window, even remembering FFP?
