Hopefully amorims comments on reintegrating a certain group of players if they aren't sold, is just transfer posturing from him and the club. 2 of those (sancho and garnacho) shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the team because all they will do is cause problems. Hopefully as the window progressed someone will emerge for those 2 especially.

If you see the interview,
He’s basically saying it’s a win win for him.
Clubs waiting for the last minute so we sell them cheap. They think they have the upper hand.
Amorim is saying well that’s not going to happen and if clubs try low ball at the end, the players will stay with us. With it being a World Cup year, if they stay, they have no choice but to give it their all, which can only be positive for us.
Best thing he could have said to push teams to buy. We’re not going to get bullied.

He can't say a lot else really.

To be fair to Amorim he’s say exactly the right thing for a change.
Garnacho for one would be good to keep, his attitude may well stink but he’s statistically doing very well and Tifo pod made some interesting comments about players who under perform the Xg, general gist was if they can be coached to improve you’ve got a top class player. I believe Nicholas Jackson fell into the same bracket.
Sancho is a different case (seems like a total prick) but I would be intrigued to see what he could do under Amorim.

Nah. Get rid of them. It will bite us royally on the ass in a year anyway and we sell them for even less. don't get bullied but bite the hand off anybody with a half decent offer.
If we are serious about this new regime then reintegrating just gives them, and future players the freedom to pull this crappy attitude every year.
Jog on…….

He’s telling interested clubs that the price isn’t going to change, so they may as well just pay what’s needed now and get the players integrated. Sadly, while it’s undoubtedly the right thing to say, I just don’t buy it.
While we could reintegrate some of those unwanted players (I could certainly see Garna and Antony getting minutes if they end up staying), that’s the last thing that Amorim or the club wants. We need money to bring in a striker, cm, and keeper, and everybody knows it. The closer we get to the end of the window, the more likely we are to make a deal.

RA is trying to say the right thing now, because TBF he done it wrong way to start off with, so it’s a bit of a mess of his own making, so have to just get on with it now
Yes they got to go all of them, not good enough anyway, before the attitudes and ego’s come into it, but hopefully RA learnt from mistakes he made in helping to devaluing them, that was pure naivety on RA part, not sure how anyone could expect a different outcome really.
Look over at Liverpool, they want rid of Nunez but not shouting it from the rooftops other clubs want rid of players but again don’t shout about it. I am afraid they going to get burnt with all them and late in the window, so it’s double whammy, let’s hope we have learned from it!

Sancho especially. He’d be a great 10 for Amorim but he can’t @rsed. Get rid.

Eric, Sancho a 10, how do you figure that? Since he signed for United he has been at best, bang average. For me, he is up there with Sanchez and Di Maria as our worst signings ever.

I don't think Amorim has said or done anything wrong so far this pre-season.
He gave players who wanted to leave extra time off to sort their moves away. Which makes perfect sense. He's trying to rebuild the culture in the dressing room, that wouldn't be helped by having multiple players in there who are itching to leave. While every single club in the world will know which players we are looking to sell and which we aren't long before he gave those few extra time off. The club will have instructed agents to find clubs for those players months ago, probably back in January if not before.
The situation with Nunez say at Liverpool is that they would like to sell him to as they've brought in better players, but I don't think the player is itching to leave or is a problem in the dressing room. So there is no need to give him extra time off to find a new club.
Different situations require different handling of them. We have to remember the context around these situations and not try and compare apples and oranges.
These players have been given that time to find new clubs, some like Rashford has managed to do so, even if it's only a loan initially.
Players like Antony, Sancho and Garnacho have had opportunities to move but have for various reasons chosen not to take those options. Be that Sancho not being willing to take a pay cut to join his boyhood side Chelsea, and had offers from Turkey and Italy but is trying to play them off against each other to get more money. Or whether its Antony and Garnacho who have had offers from clubs but have turned them down because they want to join a specific club or play in a specific league.
While we might find that frustrating in terms of moving these players on, we have also benefited from it with Cunha and Mbeumo who both insisted they wanted to join us which ultimately meant we were able to sign them.
Amorim has now stated that unless these players find moves and quickly they will have to come back into the United squad for pre-season, train and ultimately fight for a starting spot. Given that we have strengthened the squad in the positions these guys play in they are less likely to be able to get into the team this season than they were last season. While Amorim has also pointed out the importance to be playing regularly in a world cup year.
That wasn't a message to other clubs that we won't sell them on the cheap, they already know this as we've rejected unacceptable offers. It was a message to those players that they need to stop messing around and rejecting good moves in the hope that the club will accept lowball offers for them to move to their preferred destinations. Ultimately the clubs they want to move to haven't made acceptable offers, which means either they won't or they don't value the players highly enough.
Sancho could have been at Chelsea, Juventus or Galatasaray 4 or 5 weeks ago if he was willing to be sensible and accept offers from them.
Garnacho could have joined Napoli 3-4 weeks ago, but is holding out for a move to an EPL club despite none currently bidding for him.
Antony has had similar offers but is waiting for Real Betis to sign him despite them not having the money to do so. In the mean time he has also turned down offers from other clubs.
Ultimately the club will not and cannot let these players leave for below what we are asking for as it would reduce the money we have to spend by counting as a loss on the books. The clubs financial position just will not allow it.
So these players have a choice, accept the offers they do have on the table, or come back and start training to sit on the bench at United.

Garnacho is a way better backup to Cunha than say Mount.

I disagree DSG, Mount is a consummate professional and a very good player, if he can fix the injury issues.

Mount has scored 2 league goals for us since he joined.
He joined 2 seasons ago.
I don't care if he goes to church every sunday or donates half his wages to oxfam.
His returns for an attacking player are nothing short of abysmal.
{Ed077's Note - I never understood the signing from the moment we were linked to him and his injuries have meant he's been one of the biggest waste of funds which isn't a mean feat considering the terrible signings we've made.

Agreed Ed, he was signed to play in midfield with bruno and casemiro which made no sense.
A lot of football tactic “experts” on here tried to justify it but the signing never made sense and even worse the opportunity cost of signing Mount and putting him on high wages has cost us a lot.
The same summer Mcalister went to liverpool who weren't in the champions league for a lower fee, just an example of what we could have done.
{Ed077's Note - I never understood the thinking behind the Mount signing from the get go
