Rumours today that both us and Leverkusen are in talks with Monaco for CB Benoit Badiashile (spelling) if you are free ed002 do u know if there is any interest from us? Thanks.

Badiashile although still a little raw looks like he could go on to be the next Raphael Varane. Strong in the air, quick enough across the ground, good reading of the game, and good with the ball at his feet.

Obviously there is a long way for him to go before he gets to Varane's level. But he is one of the few who could get to that level.

I’ve seen him the last 12 months or so and he’s always looked like a solid young defender. Although I do think Gabriel is the better player at this point all be it he’s a few years older I think.

Agreed. He’d be a signing with huge potential for the future whilst also pushing HM and VL.
Need to ship out Jones, Smalling, Rojo before signing a CB though I’d have thought.

I made that unwise decision a few months back to check him out on Youtube -the channel that makes fools of us armchair fans after seeing us linked with him. He does look the business. very raw though but great potential, looks a powerhouse and very composed -.
