With Forrest winning the Championship play offs it will be interesting to see if EtH see a season with Forrest in the first team is better for Garners progress than a squad player with us next year.
Hopefully good option no matter what.

Another year there would be perfect to see how he gets on. I watched the game today and even though he done well, if we didn't already own him no one would be talking about signing him. I think our expectations need to be reigned in with Garner. See where he is in another year. Huge step up in standard from the championship to the premier league.

He played very well, it was his shot that Colwill inadvertently deflected past his own keeper.

Was a contender for man of the match, created the most chances of any player on the field, made the second most tackles, got about well and passed the ball intelligently.

Really great performance given the pressure of the game.

Personally I tend to agree that Garner would be better off staying at Forest for another season. You'd imagine he'll play most weeks and for a team he is settled in. For his development a year in the EPL, even at the bottom of the table will be hugely beneficial for him.

You'd imagine with McTominay, Fred and Donny, along with the one or two signings we will almost certainly make in midfield this summer that it makes more sense for Garner to be first choice for Forest rather than 5th or even 6th choice for us.

He was average on the day. Not great.
Shappy if you think he has a great game yesterday it shows that you being an oleite has had the poor standards effect on you. Great game ???????
Garner is a good player.
Not sure he will command a regular place in the team for a bit yet.

Did not have a great game at all. Was average. Took a long shot, went in off the defender.
