How come kagawa is not getting a chance I thought he would be in the starting 11 this season and I really believe he will shine if given a starting spot cleverley and giggs have been given the nod b4 him in the first 2 games what's every1s thoughts?

1.) I would have liked him to start over Welbeck today and I was shocked that Giggs came on instead of him. If he doesn't start on Sunday then i'm going to start to worry. It's a shame because he would have been perfect in this game, we needed that final pass and he is the most technical gifted player we have

I'm hoping that its a combination of him playing a lot over the summer, and Moyes wanting to make a solid start and is going with the players who do more defensive work.

But I do have this nagging voice in the back of my head telling me he isn't a David Moyes type player. I'm trying to dismiss it by saying that Moyes has had to play a certain way on limited resources, and that's why he hasn't had a Kagawa type player before. But the long Shinji stays on the bench the louder that nagging voice becomes.

3.) Moyes was not impressed with him during preseason playing opportunities. Sadly I think Moyes don't fancy him. Cracking player, I hope he will get fair time to prove himself.

5.) Disappointed also thought if kagawa came on we would have been able to get a little more penetration to get behind chelseas 10 defenders.
Still can't work out what people see in cleverely the boy is average, don't know for the life of me how he is in the starting 11.No creatitivity, limited passing range, tackling piss poor I could go on and on.
Aslo re Welbeck work rate good, but his passing, positioning, link up play etc not so good.He has talent but not too sure where or what way to play him.
Finally thought Rooney played wel tonite at least he showed plenty of conviction and never stopped trying, its about time he released a statement stating his desire.

6.) SAF would have had chats with Moyes prior to taking over i'm sure. He'll get his chance! Like Shappy said he hardly had a break this summer and did look knackered in pre season. Got a feeling he might start against Liverpool or at least come on early second half.

Hey eds love this site and all the hard work yous put into it much appreciated! What do you think of the possibility of mata being part of a deal for Rooney or even a bid for for mata himself? Cheers {Ed004's Note - Very unlikely IMO}

1.) But I have to say one thing. since the departures of ed with their in-sights this site have been boring and a place to make ON-GOING debates. when its not worth either.
Everyone tries to force their view on others head and slagging others for not getting agree to them.

2.) Use logic. have to say I disagree with you because I learn loads through involvement with this site.

not only that, I also appreciate my views being challenged and my opinions refined or completely changed by more insightful contributers than myself.

furthermore, a lot of the banter makes me chuckle and on occasion can raise a belly laugh.

we all feel passionately about what brings us together here, but even during heated disagreements I've never felt belittled or made to feel stupid even when I stick my neck out or post something that might be a little nieve.

I suppose it all depends on what you're looking to get out of our little community.

4.) Not true, it is just people have different views and will argue their point. The season has started and going by last year, the site will lose some posters as they seem to come out of the woodwork when we have transfer fever and then suddenly disappear.

Eds not wanting to contribute is their choice. At the end of the day a lot of it is guesswork especially when it comes to our club. Whilst it seems clubs are pursuing many players we seem to be a closed shop and only interested in very few.

According to many including eds, Strootman and Garay should be lacing it up today for us but we know how that went.

Here is to beting the pants off chelsea today.

5.) Andrewb. Not a tosser at all. We all have our views and that's the beauty of it.
Also the ed's are trying very hard to share whatever info they have, but at the end of the day, who knows what is really happening inside the club?
We can all just guess!
