Hi folks, not posted for about a year, honestly I can't believe I didn't lose it completely after the debacle of last season.
I've been reading the posts again for some time and I have to say not much has changed, the passion, the tactical astuteness and of course the bullshizzle.
A question for everyone. Over the last 10 years we have not been able to bring a top quality midfielder in to the club. Simple question is WHY?
It's almost like an unspoken agreement between every top midfielder to not sign for United. I don't think SAF did us any favours with the "no value" comments but how come it's not happening, I don't get it. We've got the money, the prestige, facilities and staff to attract players (admittedly no CL is a negative) but no worldies seem to want the move? Frustrating to say the least.
1.) Money talks
2.) For at least 5 we have not brought in a top class midfielder Hargreaves was before that but he had bad injuries its like we thought Schols could go on forever
3.) I get that JRED but we have the money mate, is it just a case of not knowing how to spend it?
4.) Welcome back - and just in time for another disappointing end to a transfer window!
5.) Hope not R7, however, it cannot be as bad as last season, can it!?

U know what guys Nani knew Arboloa was there, he just tried to nick it round him. No intent what's so ever. I am glad it's over, not one pindit or whatever gave us a chance. I just wish we would have pressed them in the game before they scored as much as we did afterwards.
It hurts bad but as many have said I'm proud to be a United fan. Bring on the double.

JRED we don't have a left or right back fit so the three at the back are necessary. It's not LVG's fault that he inherited a team devoid of any midfield talent, clev and fletch today, not good enough but what can he do? Sunderland away is always tricky and with the loss of confidence I actually thought we would lose today. It's tough at the moment but LVG will be given time and that's what it is going to take.
Hope not R7, however, it cannot be as bad as last season, can it!?

Andrew, so what you are saying is, break my kids heart and hope that everyone else follows suit! Not going to happen my friend. If I lived back in Manchester, I would be taking them to the game, the Grandparents would still be buying the kit for them so it would be double bubble. Question; have you stopped going because you are being ripped off?
Also explaining to kids aged below 10 is not as easy as you make it sound.
The post wasn't designed to make people sympathise with me, it was just the shock for me to find out first hand how much more expensive the replica kits have become.
