Delighted with the result yesterday and performance in the second half. One thing I noted from the match day squad is that we are currently an injury to Paddy McNair away from not having an academy graduate in the match day squad, I thought'd have that tradition for years to come but I can see the day approaching sooner rather than later!

Although I do think Wilson is guilty of running around like a headless chicken sometimes but I still think with his pace and finishing he could be a bigger and more consistent threat than Fellaini.

I think the thing to remember that with youth team football is often that in a squad of 15, 12 or 13 of those are there just to make up the numbers who those 2 or 3 the coaches think have a genuine chance of making it at that level/ club and into their 1st team. this is perpetuated whereby premier league academy 'drop outs' then replace the younger players in lower league teams academies.
As said above, if you aren't head and shoulders above everyone at youth team you're probably one of the unlucky ones there just to put together a side to showcase the talent. Of course there are exceptions to these rules and sometimes those that the club don't think will make it go on to have great careers.

Two things, wasn't there an article about how Klopp was living in Brendan's old flat? I doubt Brendan needed the money that much that he felt inclined to rent it out to his replacement. doesn't that hint at Liverpool owning the apartment and allowing their manager use of it?
Secondly, unrelated to football, the governor of the Bank of England is allocated a set amount of money for his housing as an expense and is therefore not paid for by him after tax, I am sure that football clubs can offer accommodation pre-tax so as to add to a player's total package?

Just throwing this out there but surely 'highest attendances' figures should be as a % of total seats filled through the season, I am sure that Bournemouth could be selling double the number of tickets than they are currently doing if they had a bigger stadium. The 2003 figure above is also quite interesting, around the same sort of era as we had Leeds, Middlesborough and some other 'big clubs'
