I had a dream last night where I was hanging in a flat with Giggs, Gary Neville, Scholes. and Pogba. Our legends eluded to Pogba making his way back, and Pogba confirmed it!

Just thought i'd give you lads proof that I am in the know (ITK)

Pogba is coming

Pistol

1.) I think we will go for Carvalho. Pogba would be a bit of a kick in the teeth due to him leaving here for a €1m training compensation amount. I think the club would look like planks. I think PSG will get Pogba, but we will get Carvalho.

2.) Not convinced on Carvalho, it's a lot of money and he is very untested. Wasn't that brilliant at the World Cup either.

Sydney!, the only thing that should stop us being interested in Pogba is his price and/or possible attitude problems. The fact that he left for nothing and going back for him would only further hammer home just how much financially we lost out should have nothing to do with it. If he is the best man for the job he is the best man for the job. Swallow our pride and get on with it. We will be cannon fodder on the banter front from rival fans, but aren't we already. Personally, though, I would prefer Vidal :)

I'm probably the only one on here that doesn't want pogba. Who's to say we wouldn't be sat here watching the euros, seeing him bossing teams whilst his agents making eyes at Madrid.

5.) Fresh, I didn't see him against Ghana, but for the 2nd half against the USA, he was very good. At 21 he will only improve.

Thing is you've got to think Carvalho is much more defensive, he'll shield the back 4 and help stop teams with strong midfields slicing through us with ease, something we' desperately need. Pogba is better at going forward but Herrera is decent and we have a massive wealth of attacking players through the middle. We're in more need of Carvalho than Pogba especially with doubts over our slightly sketchy defence.

I think he would be a great pickup for 10M. As you said, superior player to chicharito and can also play out wide as part of a front 3. who knows, maybe he could even become close to the player everyone expected him to be

Leahy, I totally agree. Sterling was good but was not providing that final ball and isn't too much of a goal threat from distance. Out wide he would have been able to run at the defense and open up the middle of the park. Wellbeck is awful. I used to be a big supporter of his, but year after year he continues to struggle to score and trips over himself whenever he gets in good position. It seems whenever he gets into the danger areas all of his abilities fail him - he loses a step in his pace, he misses the net, and falls over far too much. I agree that he is a very hard worker and puts in a shift, but that's only good enough for beer league soccer. When your a professional playing for a team like United, or England, and are in an attacking role, u should provide danger and some quality in the final third of the pitch - he has yet to do that. Next game, start Sturridge up front with Rooney, Barkley and Sterling as the three behind. Rooney or Barkley in the middle. Better yet a front three of Rooney, Sturridge, Sterling with a diamong 3 behind, headed by barkley in the offensive central spot

Agree completely! I watched him play for the U21 team and wasnt too impressed, but boy did he look promising last night (albeit a preseason game against weak opposition). On a side note, Adnan Januzaj looks quite the player! Would be more than happy for him to be a squad player this year that can rotate into one of the 3 spots behind the striker. Start him off in cup games and if he looks capable increase his role cause he looks top class!
