Just a thought. Does the signing of Asmir Begovic affect the progress of De Gea?

Any suggestions guys.

And what happened to Will Keane. Any information?

Red Devil

1.) When did begovic sign?i really don't see the point in signing begovic, he's not as good as de gea imo and de gea has done nothing but improve his game with us. I can't see begovic replacing lindegaard as he won't want to sit on the bench, what's the point in dropping de gea now after playing so well this season?
will keane suffered a season ending injury and the last I heard was making good progress.

2.) I know it is reported everywhere that we are looking at Begovic but I can't see it being true unless De Gea is leaving. Why would we spend the £15-20 million that Stoke would want out of a limited budget on a GK when we have an £18m GK already playing and doing a fantastic job?
Begovic wouldn't be a replacement for Lindegaard as he is too good and De Gea can't sit on the bench either as he is also too good. No team in the world have 2 GK's of this quality fighting for one place as it just can't work.
Dont get me wrong if both De Gea and Begovic were happy to do this I would be very happy as we would be incredibly strong in that position but it just won't happen.

3.) There is no way that we will let De Gea go, Lindegaard is a good enough back up and doesn't seem to cause problems. Signing Begovic to be number 2 is pointless I think and it could make De Gea uneasy about his future.

Not a rumour but for a debate. I think SAF has missed the trick by not putting Kagawa in the starting line up. He played exceptionally and got a hat-trick (though against Norwich). I think if he would have played in place of Nani and in the Central Midfield, it would have really benefited for the club against Real. Nani was not in his prime form and playing him in the starting line up was not a cleaver piece of business. For me it should be always RVP, Rooney and Kagawa up front in the starting line up than RVP, Nani and Welbeck. What do you think guys.

Red Devil

1.) Rooney and Kagawa is difficult in the same line up and does not click if you ignore the one game last week.

Every paper out there is claiming we are ready to ship Rooney out if the right offer comes in but also lot's of stuff about not too many takers. It will be an interesting last couple of months and summer.

Would it not be odd if after all the Nani talk he ends up getting a new contract and Rooney is shipped out.

Can't wait to hear SAF next interview as I am sure the press will be asking some interesting stuff and his response :)

2.) I think we played really well and looked comfortable up until the red card but you might have a point. Madrid were poor really and looked there for the taking yet all we got out of the first half was 1og, in fact in the 2 games we got an og and a goal from a set play.
But it always looks a bit different with hindsight the truth is with out the red card we may well of got the 1:0 win and it would of been a job well done

3.) "Rooney and Kagawa is difficult in the same line up and does not click if you ignore the one game last week. "

Would last week not suggest they can click then? What about Kagawa's goal against Hannover is pre season? Problem is they haven't played much together due to Rooney and Kagawa's injuries.
