Regarding your idea of keeping Coutinho quiet by "battering" him.
I find this very old fashioned, childish, and rather pathetic.

4.) It happens Ted, it is happening to Adnan on a game to game basis. It happened to Ronaldo. Where do you think the arguments of whether certain players can handle the robustness of the EPL come from? It happens. it surprises me that some teams haven't targeted Coutinho to try and take him out of the game, I am not saying I would do it, but it does happen.
5.) Syd this behaviour is not acceptable, no bullying is allowed ;-)
He was never interested in coming to us in the first place. He is a great player, the type that we needed but we were too slow in going for him, and it's doubtful we would have paid the asking anyway. If I had a choice of Ozil or Mata I'd take Ozil any day.
