For the first time in my life I am embarrassed by my great club. What a shambles!
1.) 02 Sep 2013 23:03:34
No Felliani?
2.) 02 Sep 2013 23:11:48
I agree, we ended up looking
Like the last drunk at a disco lurching from one minger to another in blind panic, hoping we don't go home on our own. FFS Cardif spent more than us!
Chinese Whispers (can't log on)
3.) Hooray we signed Fellaini! Now watch out the rest of the league as we BATTER you into submission. sigh.

Gents, reading the messages on here I can see that many are disappointed that w were not in the running for Ozil. We all know he is a great player, but why blow what would probably be most of our budget on a player that plays in a position were we already have strength? Kagawa and Rooney can play wide or in the hole and buying another player of that ilk, albiet a beter player would stop the progression of Januzaj.
I have been disgruntled all summer, but if we bring in Herrera and Fellaini I will be happy. Herrera is class and a box to box player and will get stuck in, something Ozil won't do. As for fellaini he is the destructive, steely and if you like 'dirty' player that will get stuck in and stick it people like Toure at City.
Good business for me.
1.) Because our wingers are terrible and many would like to see us play Rooney, Kagz and Ozil behind RVP. We also have 'unlimited funds'.
2.) On a more serious note, we haven't sold anyone and therefore are carrying the same wage bill as last year. Ozil is reportedly looking for £200k per week, we can bring in Fellanini and Hererra for less wages then Ozils and still have change.
Whilst the board can say that money is no barrier, the financial fair play rules imlemented by the premier league and whole heartedly agreed to by Utd limit the wages you are able to pay. As we haven't cleared the likes of Nani, Anderson off the wage bill we cannot go out and spend fortunes on every player we like, we need to be selective and strengthen where we really need it.
3.) If you believe we have unlimited funds then you have been smoking the same stuff as woody woodward.
4.) We are miles away from falling foul of ffp rules. I can't be bothered to explain them fully - but the gist is that the club must bring in more than it spends. We are comfortably with that limitation.
Of course we do not have 'unlimited' funds - but that suggestion implies we have enough to be able to buy top players. We bring in enough money as a club for there to be plenty of cash available (especially with all of the new sponsorship deals this year) - so paying an extra £13m to bring in Ozil rather than Fellaini should be feasible!

Faraday have you even seen the guy play before?
He is certainly better than what we have and would improve the team and is rated very highly, but as he is no good on FIFA we shouldn't sign him!
I assume that moyes doenst fancy kagawa then?
Why would Madrid even consider Nani?
