People talking about draxler. He signed a new contract extension in May 2013. I know this doesn't mean he won't sign but it makes it unlikely.

Marquinhos signs for PSG on five year deal.
1.) Not United related but did anyone else read that PSG have told Barcelona to stop trying to unsettle their players because they're rich enough to trigger Messi's 215 million release clause & move him to Paris to show them what it feels like! Made me grin!
2.) Well that was a short lived rumour! Seems a lot for a young defender.

Freddie Veseli has joined Ipswich on a two year deal.
John Cofie Joined Barnsley on a one year deal.
Thoughts?
1.) We released them didn't we?
2.) Yeah we did. Just filling where the lads ended up Ste.
Just interested in the players themselves. Whether we should have kept them or not.
3.) Not sure about Cofie but Veseli wasn't released! He was quite highly regarded but chose to leave, baffled me. Think he just doesn't like Manchester!

I feel a little sorry for Guillermo Varela, working hard in the U20 world cup, helping his team to the final tonight. Have you all forgotten he has signed for us under DM?
Even if we sign no players this window, how many premier league sides can out man the team we had last season?
1.) If we buy no players I'd say both Celsea and Citeh will out man us next season, our midfield needs strengthening, of that there is no doubt. Come on DM, do your stuff!

Totally agree with Most people posting on such issues above.
One part of the Quote from The Guardian struck me as weird.

I looked up the fees for players since Veron and the highest oversees fee since then was Anderson from Porto FC. Does this not count as major?
We paid an awful lot for him and David de Gea is the 3rd most expensive goalkeeper. Does this also not count?
Slighty confused as to what "major overseas is classed as.
