I said it so many times during the tranfer window we do not need Carrick he cannot beat a player and Cleverly on when we need creativity just sums it up still 100% behind United but we need Anderson and Kagawa in that midfield Carrick too laid back look at how har iniesta, Ozil, Wishere work and they are all better than our midfield . Moyes need to Stop giving Carrick automatic start every game he needs that hunger when was the last time he gave that killer pass??Nani gets a lot of stick on here but watch Carrick from now on and see what he really does {Ed004's Note - Carrick was one of a few players that were good today. The only players that deserved to be wearing the shirt was Vidic, Carrick and Rooney IMO}
1.) I though Carrick done ok today but he needs quick busy players around him city showed today good teams will have to much pace and movement for Carrick /fellani

I agree, smalling was decent too but city's movement and pace had us in sixes and sevens.
I hope come January buy if we are serious about retaining our crown and hope the gap is not too big as this current team will not win the league.
We should look at Witsel, who is supposedly available in January and think he will give us some pace and presence against teams like city. We also need to buy a left back and should take the plunge and spend money on a top player.
3.) Carrick is just not good enough.Poor in the tackle and shows little or nothing going forward. Play Fellaini as the defesive player and get Kagawa or Anderson on.
4.) We wasted all summer failing on securing targets and we eventually sign Fellaini at the last minute.How on earth will we buy 2-3 players in January?
Please have some more faith into our current squad, I'm sure they have plenty more to offer.

I admire your faith but have never hid the fact that I don't rate this current team as highly as some other do.
PSG and Monaco are playing as I write this. The quality of their players compared to ours is quite stark and maybe then you will realize this team is very average against better opposition and will lose more often than win.
We look good against teams who give us space and don't have pace to bother us however the minute we get pressed and left wanting for speed we come undone and can't put 5 decent passes together in the opposition half.
Do you realize it took till the 28 minute today for us to make six passes in their half without giving away possession or passing backwards to our cb.

I cannot believe herrera deal is off all those saying a lot of crap about Fellaini i'm sure now you all want him to sign or you are happy with what we saw at Anfield
I doubt u have ever played football mate Fellaini will def improve our midfield are you telling me Cleverly is better or even Carrick??
What is Moyes playing at certainly not a good start to his Manchester United job he is only making it hard on himself Fellaini our only hope now

Carrick, Cleverly should not be Manchester United starters If wome people think they are then comment after meeting the big teams thy should be playing for westham or some little team Fellaini is better than all the midfielders we have
What about Carrick he did absolutely nothing at least Fellaini tried what is Carricks purpose in that team?Midfield is not Fellaini alone
