David Moyes attended the atletico vs Porto match last night. So can we expect Atleast one player from either team to sign with us in january? Koke, Mangala or Alex Sandro maybe?

1.) As DM always have targets scouted by multiple scouts its likely to be a porto player he went to look at, also Koke didn't have a good game

2.) Not sure one poor game would put me or DM off Koke. Still think he's a class act.

3.) Ed002, any idea which player(s) Moyes was scouting?

4.) They will hammer us with the multi million price tag on these players when they know how Good Utd has been in bargaining.

5.) I have a sneaky suspicion that it could be Sandro with Evra going to Monaco in January.

6.) Would be nice if we were also looking at Quintero but he only signed for Porto last summer so they'd probably ask a shed load for him. Such a creative, flair attacking midfielder, would show just how average Cleverley's skill set is haha.

Sell fellaini, recall januzaj, buy stones and mane?
1. Is it just me or should Carrick seriously consider retiring end of season?
2. We needed Schneiderlin. Schweini was a world class bargain but we didn't really add pace and energy in the midfield. Fellaini doesn't have the pace and is getting frustrating tbh. Youri Tielemans maybe? I doubt that'll happen (scholesy might throw his 'we need readymade superstars)

We definitely need something. I don't think we will get either Mané or Stones - but I hope we do. Mané would add a lot.

Bit harsh on Carrick, I still think he is class. Not sure about Januzaj either, I have been a big advocate but he is isn't pulling up trees at Dortmund is he?

Both Stones and Mane would be excellent, but are probably not available at a reasonable price. Carrick is still a great passer, but limited defensively. I don't think he and Bastian should play together, too slow as a pair. I like Tielemans as a prospect. Wonder how real that rumor is.

Sell Felliani to any team in the PL at the moment and I guarantee he reaps havoc when he comes up against our defenders or our midfielder playing in defence for that matter, depending on the managers mood that day.

It's obvious that united NEED to sign midfielders. Ed who do you think united have the best chance of signing. And we have to sign a player Fernando/matic/guarin. We've been having a bad time coping with counter attacks.
