Matic is ahead of DVB because he miles better even though he is aging, I’m not of the opinion he can’t play 90 mins, yes maybe if you are asking him to run around like headless chicken Fred he can’t do that, but use his Brain, dictate play great touch and can pass a ball and organise that’s what you use Matic for and god knows we need that…. surely you play to what he is good at because he head and shoulders above DVB, McT, Fred
But saying that we seem to get a player see what his strengths are then our Ole and Team ask them to do something completely opposite. Very strange way of managing a team, which Is why I think we will win nothing at all.

Chris1, probably Ole doesn't realize Donny can play different positions in midfield.

Credit to the older heads of the team like Matic, Ronaldo and Cavani but having to still rely on them on the pitch even after significant investments in the last couple of years just says it all.

DVB needs to get his agent to go to the club and say, thank you for the opportunity but let's agree for everyone that we go our seperate ways. Work over the next couple of month on either a sale for January or a Loan to buy that suits both parties.
He will be a very good player with the right team/ manager but it is looking increasingly like that is not us. unless the manager changes.

Let’s stop blowing smoke up donny backside if he was good enough he’d play . If anyone thinks he can play as our number six and be better than what matic does your talking absolute nonsense. As I’ve said he’s got a case possibly at pogba expense but I look at lingard who comes on and influences games, takes his chances . Donny has never done that .

Totally agree Chris, some people seem to think Donny is getting better and better and the answer to all our problems in Midfield when he can’t even get in the team, and when he does don’t do a lot to justify his place, gets brushed of the ball with ease, I’m not a Pogba fan by any means but I would not even replace Pogba with DBV on what we have seen, some seem to think ol he Dutch he can play, maybe he just don’t suit premier, too physical and quick for him.

Donny wasn’t the best player on the pitch last week, he was at fault for the goal, I think some people would say he was the best player on the pitch even if they didn’t watch the game. He’s become the best player in the world sitting on the bench, I think his stock rises more when he doesn’t play than when he does.

Everything he did last week the fans clapped and cheered like he had scored, 2 yard passes were cheered, fans are desperate for him to be amazing, it was condescending and gave a false narrative of how he actually played.
