so whos goal do u think was better rooney or beckham?

millz

1.) Rooney's IMO, albeit closer than Beckham's, his was a volley and didn't have as much time on the ball.

2.) Beckham.

3.) Rooneys was probably more difficult because it was on the volley. But Beckhams was further out and such perfect technique and placement. Because he was the first to do it, it has become such an iconic goals. Ever since that goal, players at all levels love to try to "do a Beckham". So, for those reasons my vote goes to Golden Balls.

4.) Rooney all the way. Simply because of less time to react and difficult to execute.

5.) Beckham, he was in his own half and it went in perfectly without bouncing

I think its clear where I stand. I feel abit sorry for Anderson, he has been unfortunate that he has played in a position unsuited to him and he has constantly picked up injuries so has been unable to gain any momentum. He hasn't helped himself though as he could keep himself in better shape while out injured. But imo he needs to move on to give him a chance of having a proper career.

Rooney is still a good player who has shown a. sign or two of decline ( his lost of pace and his poor first touch which used to be so good). Wayne is the kind of player who needs to feel loved and wanted. Its a character flaw if you will. He isn't the strong self confident person that players such as Cantona or Keane were. As such he needs to feel loved to boost his self esteem. Sir Alex had certainly gone colder on him since his first transfer request, and that could be attributed to Wayne not feeling happy at the club.

Imo there is an a group of people within Old Trafford who want to see the back of Wayne. Either because it makes financial sense this summer, or because of the way he constantly brings bad press to the clubs door, or because of the way he treated the club in order to get his last contract. So the people who want rid of him have plenty of reason to. Add to that the few areas of decline he is showing and it makes more and more sense to sell now.

I've never said that he is washed up and a crap player, just that he is on the deline and will never be as good as he was again. He might be able to get his first touch back, but he'll never regain that explosive pace.

Then on a personal side I hate the way he has treated the club I love, the way he has made Sir Alex look abit of a fool, and the way his private life keeps effecting the club. So for me I will never be a fan of Wayne Rooney again.

But it is Moyes who will decide if Wayne stays or goes. And I will back his judgement as he is better placed to make that call. If Rooney stays at the club I will support him while he wears the shirt, I will cheer him on for the good of the team and the club I love.

But deep down i'll never forgive Wayne, and I will be glad when he leaves our club. Be that this summer or whenever.

AC Milan are looking a package together to take him to Italy in the summer ut I suspect he may be one for after the World Cup.}
