With all that Woodward has said about money and breaking transfer record, do you think there is a big surprise in the offering say, ronny? To be the worlds most expensive player again with a massive deal, and back helping the club he loves might interest him just a bit. Dreaming probably but I can't help think after what he has said if there was not a top top signing he's going to look like a sucker

4.) Ronaldo will never be a United player again.
5.) I think Ronaldo may look for a swan song at United but not this year. The big worry is the state of his left knee, which may prevent any club paying big money for him unless it is very clearly resolved. If Madrid wanted to sell him then I would be concerned at why. If it is a degenerative condition then he may struggle in a year or two like Hargreaves so I think we may not see him in red again.

1.) Whether you like it or not.
Ed Woodward, since coming into the position, has brought hundreds of millions of pounds in to the club. He's doing a fantastic job.
Signing players is not a simple process. He's brought in 2 players that will drastically improve the first team already.
And is quite clearly working on more.
In the real world, don't you think its much more likely that he's only recently been given solid targets by LvG?
Give him till the end of the window before you start moaning about panic buys that he hasn't made yet.
Once again the fickle side of the United fans on show, the same people that we booing and jeering Fellaini on Tuesday. Cretinous at times it really is.

While I do agree to a certain degree he has brought in millions and is clearly good in this respect, we have lost ferdy, vidic, evra as you know our midfield was a shambles, two weeks before deadline day nobody in. Surely your a little bit worried can you not remember last season! Van gaal would have known the extra additions needed to improve doesn't live on mars! I personally like fellaini always in my dream team! I am a big utd fan also but you have got to be honest

I said this would happen a few weeks ago, when we sign players early in the summer people moan we haven't signed anyone, when actually you mean 'we haven't signed the player I want us to sign in the last 2 days'.
We have spent 60 million this summer, 30 to replace Evra and 30 to help sort out our 'shambles' of a midfield, we are also in the market for defenders and midfielders and will get some before the window closes.
Even if we signed Vidal, Rojo, Blind and Benatia today, I assure you there would be people on here on deadline day saying we haven't signed anyone and we desperately need 2 players. It is pathetic, people are so obsessed with signings.
4.) The fact of the matter is that signings will be made before the window closes.
Everyone knows who they would personally like, but no one knows who LvG wants.
(Cue LvG's dry cleaner who's been told of a £150 Million move for Messi)
5.) GDS, although I completely agree with your assessment on how some people think regarding transfers, especially when we've bought early, we are still at least three signings away from being where we need to be. We have actually left ourselves a lot to do in a short space of time. The club are clearly trying and they are targeting the higher calibre player which are harder to get, but you would think the club would have been more flexible this summer due to the fact that we have just had our worst season in decades and the club have lost significant funds in revenue. So we do need to pull our finger out, but I do agree that we could sign three today and there would still be people moaning on transfer deadline day. I completely agree with that.
6.) Maybe, I'm pleased with the two signings so far! But you have to be honest no vidic and ferdy replacements 2 days before kickoff quality window so far? Get real! What do you think of Tyler Blackett?

I really rate Tyler Blackett and I think LVG does too, how could he not, every game he has played he has looked assured on the ball, quick and good at reading the game. I am just a bit wary of his lack of experience especially playing at the back with other inexperienced players.
Ferdinand has been poor for 2 seasons, I keep seeing people say we need to replace him but he hardly played last season and when he did he was awful. Pretty much the same with vidic at times over the last couple of years, I was not really too fussed that either left, although I do agree we need a replacement for vidic.

I agree with your assessment mate, my comment was aimed at rodders saying we haven't signed anyone which frustrates me when we have spent 60 million. I am desperately hoping we get the players in we need in the next couple of weeks.
8.) We have lost Ferdy Vidic and Evra ok I agree with that but have gained Shaw and Herrera Evra and Ferdinand cost us games last season and Vidic was injured a lot he couldn't help that but if Rojo and Blind came in we would have got more players than we lost and better
9.) GDS, I would take Rojo, Blind & Vidal if offered to me now.

Is anyone else bit concern with lack of extra additions, starting to think that we are doomed again the players we have that we're useless last season( cleverly, smalling, welbeck, Nani, young and fellaini) look likely to possibly play a big part again. As well as losing valuable experienced players. Woodward needs to go transfers should have been tied up by now not good at all, in my opinion we need two CBs, a Mid, and a CF. Maybe hummels, varane, Vidal and cavani! We need to spend look at the improvements are rivals have made no champs league spot again I'm affraid! Whilst a hard working well organised team can do wonders can't see us beating arsenal, Chelsea, Man c, Liverpool.

As much as we'd all love Hummels I don't think he'll move this window. The only genuine world class player we could sign is Vidal.

Lots of pros but this is suppose to be a site for rumours and debates, we are all utd fans and for many of us we just want to see us back at the top and not see our club pay 100 grand plus a week on players that don't seem to put in the effort, there has seen to be difficulties in getting the right players in hasn't there it's down to debate as to why this is only a debate love my club but there is a time to ask questions!
