Ed, you mentioned Vidal in the transfer post (thanks a lot by the way), are we trying to agree a deal for January or the summer? Do you personally think there is any chance of it succeeding?

{Ed002's Note - January.}

1.) Ed002. are the club going for a January move out of the need to sign someone to push for top 4? Or is it that they feel he may not be available in the summer?

{Ed002's Note - It is what I said it is - no more, no less. The club are looking to improve the side. It will continue for, I would think, another 18 months.}

2.) Ed is there any truth in the rumours of us trying to seal a deal for Koke

Ed, there is plenty of talk about Mata at the moment and him being allowed to leave Chelsea. Do you think there is even the slightest chance that they would consider selling to United?

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea don't want the player to leave but would not stand in his way should a suitable offer be made and if the player wants to leave. None of that has happened at this time.}

1.) Juve want Nani, United want Vidal. Athletico Madrid want Hernandez, United want Koke. United have a squad that is probably too big and could do with a bit of a trim. Any chance of player+cash offers? Just a thought.

Few things Ed02 if you don't mind;

1) Do you see RvP leaving in the summer? Quite a few reports over the last 2 - 3 months that he's not happy under Moyes. Preferably, I'd want Rooney to leave and RvP to stay.

2) Moyes is supposedly ready to sell Rafael in the summer, can you see this happening? If so, what RB(s) are we targeting?

3) Who are our main CM targets?

4) Besides Shaw, are we seriously looking at any other LB's?

{Ed002's Note - There will be no thoughts about selling van Persie right now. Rafael may well be leaving in the summer. Targets will become much clearer in the next two months.}

Ed02; can you explain what the current situation is with Rooney please?

Lot of talk about this huge contract on the table with the club being hopeful he'll sign, but talks aren't that far into it yet.

Can you see him signing it or do you think he could still leave?

Ed02; probably been asked countless times already this morning, but United are obviously interested in Mata, will Chelsea sell to them if they offer what Chelsea deem to be acceptable?

Ed02, know if there is any truth to RvP being unhappy?

{Ed002's Note - Like unhappy because his dog Bozo died? Or unhappy at the political situation in Syria? Or unhappy with the colour of the new carpet in the dining room?}

1.) If Bozo has died then I fully expect a minutes applause and the players to wear black armbands at the next home game.

2.) RIP RVPs DOG ;)

3.) You couldn't blame RVP for being unhappy 12 months Ago he joined united to win trophy under SAF a year later and the great man retires and Arsenal are 6 places above us and ironically in need of a striker!

Ed002 that is hilarious. I think he is unhappy once he got to see Cleverly's wag and has been wondering ever since where he went wrong.

5.) He was at chill factore yesterday, his missus and kid where having a private lesson. He seemed happy and answered a few questions about United, and took a few photos.
He says he is in the last stage of his injury and will be back soon, couple of weeks or something.

Ed02, for all the doom and gloom around here at the moment, can you shed any light on the situation at all, are we currently in talks with any clubs / players?

Ed, is the main obstacle still the fee? Have talks advanced at all since you mentioned us being interested in Vidal a couple of weeks ago or so?

Ed002; I think you hit the nail on the head in regards to players needing to be replaced. How many people can you see leaving in the summer, if so, could you share a list?

{Ed002's Note - I see an 18 month refresh programme. MU has fallen to where Chelsea were with a coire team hanging out together for too long. It is how long it takes. Cheslea are done with their programme and are ack to "tinkering" - Arsenal are 6 months in and will be done by September. Manchester United are starting and Manchester City will start in the summer.}
