Friendly hello from a Liverpool fan. I'm actually a little bit happy seeing you boys having a decent season. The past few years have seen us favourites going into games and that sort of takes the passion out of it a bit for me. Of course, I hope we batter you and you plummet down the table, but I'm sure that's exactly how you would wish it for us and rightly so.
While I'm here, a big hats off of coursed to Marcus Rashford for all his work for the less fortunate, a really good bloke.
I'd happily take 3 points this weekend if it meant you knock us out of the cup.

Good post dude and may the best team win on Sunday.

I hope it is an entertaining game, pull of passion and end to end action.

Top of the table clash after so many years.
I expect a cautious approach from both teams.

Like Burkeyboy, if a choice had to be made, I'd take the 3 points over the FA Cup place.

a draw will suit united more than liverpool - who cannot afford to lose, so i expect an onslaught on Sunday. Hope we weather it and play the football we are capable of.

As a Liverpool fan I'm with you AJH, feel exactly the same about any potential buyer for us.
Halesini, acknowledging our own terrible history and treatment of others doesn't mean we accept it from others now, today in 2023. Empire building was seen as a natural progression for a country 300 years ago. We now judge current practices by current acceptable norms. If you accept beheadings, the ownership of women and the murder of homosexuals as ok because we were awful in the past, then I think you need to rethink the matter, respectfully.

Agree re Maguire. I am an LFC fan, but thought it was a bad move going for him. He is a donkey, slow and clumsy. You missed Varane yesterday.

{Ed014's Note - he wouldn’t have made any difference to the outcome

Brendan, as a visiting scouser to your page, just wanted to say that your post was one of the best thought out and articulated I've read on any of the rumour pages in quite a while. I agree that you have a very good squad. You finished second last year and at times didn't even seem to be trying to be honest. You haven't had any players poached and have made a couple of signings (Fred is in my fantasy team) . Agree fully with your view on Jose. If he let's Pogba off his leash then anything is possible this season. Remember your start to last season? Looking at the fixture list, no reason why this season can't start the same.

Liverpool fan here in peace. Agree with you RedD, how Mctominay was dropped i have no idea. I thought he was a key reason you got the win on Saturday. I thought that after the weekend JM would have the confidence to step it up a bit and let your players do their thing. On paper, you are all over us in every area bar the forward line. I don't know which is more frustrating, Klopp's tactical naivety at times or Mou's tactical pragmatism.
