Ed do u have any idea who the 2 players we have agreed deals for with their clubs as per reports

jmshoko

{Ed004's Note - I could only hazard a guess due to rumours. Possibly Garay and Carvalho}

1.) Thanx Ed, let's hope its true

I understand we are close to sealing deals for Iikay Gundogan and Toni Kroos, with Gundogan said to be worth Kagawa + £10m and then Kroos £27m as Bayern have said they will never change their entire salary structure because of a single player, so he can go

jmshoko

1.) I'd love if this were true but I just can't see it happening, Gundogen has had a bad injury laden season and would be a gamble as for a player of a young age to have a bad back one can only wonder how many games per season he would miss with it.

Kroos has not asked to be the clubs record earner but just wants pariety with Thiago and Goetze or so I have heard. In the end I think he or Bayern will lower their demands and he will sign a new contract, he is a very good player and Bayern will not want to lose him.

2.) If toni kroos dosent sign a new deal with bayern ( which I think he will ) then all the big clubs will come calling not just manchester united, although we can meet his wage demands, provide him with a club with a great history, tradition, fanbase and a platform like old trafford is what many dream of, I just think without champions league football we have 0 chance of securing his signature if i'm honest. he will end up at man city most likely just to rub salt in the wounds.

What about this Louis Van Gaal rumour abt replacing Moyes how true is it

jmshoko

1.) 22 Feb 2014 14:06:26
don't believe that will happen, then again I didn't think rooney would get 300,000 grand a week, what a waste of money.

Moyes may have finalised the deals of Hererra and Fellaini . , but the word is he is also critically looking at bringing in a DM and Baines who could be the last of our incomings. , a bid for Baines of £15m has been submitted and a £12m bid for Daniel de Rossie was made this afternoon but Roma has rejected it and so another vastly improved and hard to reject offer will be tabled for Roma

And finally Chelsea are listening to offers for Juan Mata and I understand we are interested and may bid the £35m but I'm not sure if we have a strong interest .

We have just activated Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ande Hererra release clause of €36m and it's now upto to the player

jmshoko

1.) I would be surprised if he didn't fancy the move to us.

2.) I agree with samthered as Herrera simply won't win anything at Bilbao despite the attractive football they can produce. He's 24 and a great future ahead of him. Look at all the other targets apart from Fellaini, they have won major trophies, so if the release clause is met, he would be daft not to move on

Guys why don't we just go English or related to Englishin our summer transfer with a little foreign influence, i'm not being a racist but Ed if you realize our own sons tend to be more loyal than leave to teams like Barca or Real when they come calling look at Scholes, Giggs, Rio, Bruce, Butt, Cole, etc, i'm afraid that soon, in a year or 2 we will be battling to keep Januzaj, the Gea, Mata and Buttner, why don't we just for Shaw, Shawcross, Lallana, Bakley, Coleman, then a few like 2 foreign. what do u think Edd

jmshoko

{Ed004's Note - I think Liverpool tried that a few seasons back and look were it got them. It put them even further back Carroll, downing, Adam etc btw know Adam isn't English. I can't recall many English players that have moved for big money being worth it Lampard, Cole, Shearer, Rooney and rio. There may be many more I just think foreign players are more technically gifted that English ones. There is a reason England are poor every time they play a game}

1.) What British players would you realistically want? I'd only take Barkley, the Ox, Baines, Coleman, Sturridge, Lallana and Wilshere. The rest I wouldn't touch with a barge pole - we have a lot of the top English players, you need a ballance.

2.) You're not being racist, you're being xenophobic.

3.) You have a lot of the top English players? the only English United player who should get anywhere near the England squad is Rooney, the rest are abysmal.

4.) I think the reasons most English players stay in England is because a lot of them don't want the challenge of a new league and learning a new language. The other is that there are better players that are far cheaper in Spain, Germany, Italy and France who are just as good or better and cost a lot less. Why would a team from Spain spend 20 million on Lallana why they could pick up a better player for a quarter of the price. Shaw and Barkley would be the only two young English players i'd like to see join but you're talking 25-30 million each which is quite steep.

5.) I like Cahill at Chelsea as well. But it is slim pickings for sure. Henderson looks quality this season and if we had his driving runs through the middle it would open up a lot more space for our creative players.

Sterling looks to have improved a lot. I also like Flanagan for cover on either full back role. I wouldn't have Wilshere now, he is going backwards for me.

Ramsey definitely just like Henderson. Shawcross not good enough on the ball.

Sturridge is too hit and miss for me and very selfish, I would rather Welbeck as a squad player.

6.) The Southampton right back is real good player and watch him flourish in the next few years. I can't remember his name as he is not a starter yet but from what I have seen he is going to be very good.

7.) Calum Chambers.

8.) Chambers and remember Clyne? He was great at Palace, their captain and so composed on the ball at the age of 20? Now he's battling for a starting spot at Southampton.

The only english players I think that would be good for United are Shaw and Barkley, big fan of Lallana but we have better players or as good players for the same position.

9.) Plymouth red: you are talking utter rubbish. Jones, smalling and Welbeck have the potential to be top performers for England over the coming years. We also have the likes of Powell, Lingard, Zaha and Wilson who also have great potential.

The arrogance of you lot is quite funny. I am sure will will wipe that proverbial grin off your boat races next season.

10.) Sam, am not saying it to be a propeller, it's my opinion, fair enough Jones is a solid squad player but I honestly don't think Smalling or Welbeck are anywhere near good enough for England or United for that matter.

11.) Welbeck is good enough for the England reserves:)

Zaha is grossly overrated and supposedly a terrible attitude, if true he is a long way from being in the England squad.

I think Moyes has found the connection with United team and I believe henceforth we are now in the winning driving mode, Mata should not be changed to the wing, he is excellent as an attacking midfielder, in the summer I belive we only need a left back, 2x centre backs and a central midfielder. only

jmshoko

05 Mar 2014 21:49:49
I am looking at a left back, 2cbs, dm, and cm

jmshoko

1.) Is that you David?

2.) Surreal post of the day

30 Jan 2014 11:16:03
As much as some think we won't be making any signings I think Moyes hasn't finished yet, i'm seeing Nani going out on loan then 3 signings being made before deadline,
Expect Kroos, Fernando and Coentrao/Fellipe Luis to sign

jmshoko

1.) Wow! loving the optimism but can't see it personally.

2.) 30 Jan 2014 12:09:54
Any word on Fernando?
News reports are picking up about our interest, but also say Porto may not want to sell this late in the window, and others say City may come in with a double bid for Fernando and Mangala.

I would be thrilled if we got him. Fernando seems to be a very hard working player who can break up play in front of the back four, and he covers a lot of ground. He would give that much more freedom to the quartet we are all hoping to see up front.

3.) From getting the Mata deal sorted to completion it took 3 days, we have until tomorrow night, and you think we will get 3?

4.) I don't know if city have the money to make a double bid like that, if my memory is correct, mangala is not going to be cheap and they have failed FFP at present, not sure if they have the money to spend at the moment

5.) GDS2, I said I hope we get Fernando. Where do you get 3 from?

And Darv, I hope your are right about City, I have to admit the rumour about them has me worried, though I can't see Porto letting them both go now, one would be hard enough to lose.

27 Jan 2014 18:40:16
Eds my br after this massive Mata signing are we going to bring another player because I think we need a central midfielder in the attacking and let Rooney be highly utilised as a striker together with RVP. , maybe Kroos or Gondugan and lastly a left back thus Shaw. , then I promise you Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal will be shocked end of season on how we returned the title

jmshoko

{Ed004's Note - Firstly I can see no more than 1 signing by the end of this window if we are extremely lucky maybe, just a tiny maybe we will get 2 more. Secondly I'd be happy with any of those players and lastly we have no chance in the league}

I don't see Everton budging and you right they should stop playing games in the transfer market, its as if all these low bids were meant to make them appear as if in the market when in actual fact are not going to buy anyone
