We will hand arsenal their first defeat of the season Imo.
Whilst we may not be there is some key areas, which I suspect we will address in the next window and get a striker, RB, CM/ Playmaker, CD.
In reality we are 4 signing away from competing to win the league. It will not be easy but we will have the players and a manager to shape us.
Cherry on top would be to have some come through the academy who are good enough to play or even start. The rest becomes noise like the undertaker.
I watched a rerun of the Southampton game and we need to create more scoring opportunities and it was a lot of effort as a team to get the win.
Need to move the ball faster and still missing that key midfielder imo from an offensive point of view.

NC, I tend to agree. I think we need a RB, but I'm prepared to give Dalot a chance this season.
As others have said everyone gets a clean slate. Let's see how Dalot does with Antony down the right hand side.
Another who I think there is a question mark hanging over them is DDG. Great shot stopper, but can he develop his game to play in the way EtH wants. We have seen at both Liverpool and City that getting a keeper who fits the system transformed their sides.
I think we need more quality in depth at CB. One injury and we are back to Maguire starting.
We obviously need that controlling midfielder who can get on the ball and dictate the tempo to slow things down to defend or speed things up in attack.
I also think we might need a striker, but against I am happy to see how Martial and Rashford do under EtH. He turned Haller into one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, so I'm excited to see what he can do with players of Martial and Rashford's talent.
Next summer for me we will definitely need a midfielder and more depth at CB. then depending on how the existing players do a GK, RB, and maybe a ST.

The Undertaker - You would be absolutely correct if that statement had come 3 months ago. however he is coming into a team with the manager who has progressed his career for the past 2 years. I think he will be okay and will add the flair we have been lacking.
I am enjoying the banter with other fans at the minute. it has been a while since it has been anything other than we are crap. A small sign that they are worried we are moving in the right direction.

United's biggest problem at the moment is keeping hold of the football. The amount of times our midfield gave the ball away against Southampton was frightening. Possession was dreadful!
Bruno is constantly trying this millionaire ball which just isn't on instead of keeping it simple.
Mctominay constantly dawdling on the ball to long and getting it taken off him.
This is something ETH really needs to work on.
We work really hard to get the ball back and then give it straight back to the opposition with a sloppy pass. It drives me insane!

I agree on the goalie and forgot about that one. Watched NC vs Liverpool last night, NC Keeper was impressive very solid and seems very good in his decision making.

Our build up play is so so slow when in posession. When we move it around faster we tend to keep hold of ball, its when it slow and the other side has their shape and few gaps that we tend to give it away by forcing a pass.
We are very slow switching play from side to side, the centre backs taking too long to move the ball imo.
City are the best in terms of switching play from an overloaded area to open space. Liverpool do that quite well too.
Our wingers rarely get the ball without having 2/ 3 guys from the opposing team covering their side.

That's why we've bought Casemiro Nothing changes. To cover the space in front of the CB's, reducer foul if we get countered. So the FB's can get forward more and support wingers and overload wide areas, with Casemiro behaving like Fabinho and Rodri and taking anyone out on the counter attack.

Nothing Changes - We are poor whether we move the ball slowly or quickly, it doesn't matter.
We can't put more than 5 passes together, it's infuriating to watch.
We may not be able to switch and the play from side to side like City and Liverpool do but i am taking about the basic art of passing a football and holding on to possession. It's dreadful.
We are one of if not probably the worse in the premier league for it.

Blackpool Red, One Premier Leauge title with our greatest team? Firstly this isn't our greatest team. In the Premier Leauge maybe but not in the history of the club.
Secondly this Liverpool team has won one title and finished second by a point on two occasions to arguably the greatest team the league has ever seen in City.
They have kept a team that literally can spend what they like when they like without reprisals honest in the league like no other side. Whilst spending a fraction of the net spend City have .
That isn't laughable, that is miraculous. And it was done with excellent coaching and buying the right player at the right time, maybe United should try that some time.
