hi all. i would like ask this to man utd fans.
since the day mourinho with porto defeated man utd, man utd fans have abused him so much and his work as well. he just parks the bus, plays defensive football, plays long ball only, doesn't integrate youth players etc.
would you all now say same things and carry on your abusing or eat humble pie and eat your own words?
a true man stays firm on his words, i hope all man utd fans who said all that things about mourinho stand by it after few weeks as well.

Futball

Mourinho was my choice to directly follow SAF and the club failed. I have seen Jose teams play good football, both Madrid and Chelsea, it is just a label people like to beat Mourinho with. Other fans were uncomplementary about SAF but would have had him as manager instantly.

I have always admired his work, people forget SAF was pragmatic when needed. Personally if Jose is appointed I will feel a buzz, both of relief we have a brilliant manager again after the last two and because I will feel we will start to look up instead of down the league.

futball before posting bull, maybe u should have looked at the polls page, on question whether utd fans want mourinho as their manager, it's 77-23 in favor of mourinho, also i am yet to meet anyone who has abused him about his success at porto or inter, some i give u are still bitter about porto beating us, but then i am still bitter at leicester beating us last season, it's not abuse it's just unhappiness at an undeserved loss. Some don't like him, but very few if any have abused him as u put it.

Jose was my choice straight after SAF aswell, I've always liked him.

Redman, I am with you. Sir Alex departing was to a large extent
unprecedented in the moden era due to 1. His life cycle of 20 odd years with the club.

2. The trophies and the dominance esp in the domestic league.

I could not and and still do not comprehend Moyes appt. It baffled me.

We had to appt a serial winner with a gargantuan personality and an aura to illuminate the theatre of dream after the shock and dissapointment of Fergie stepping down. Someone to deflect the attention away from the post fergie big question. CAN UNITED KEEP ON WINNING TROPHIES POST FERGIE

There were and still are many other great managers but it felt like Jose and us would be a good fit. The Cantona of management if you will. Arrogance with with an undisputed winning touch.

Will we miss the boat again?
A manager whose ego would have been battered at his last job ( post porto I would say this is his only failure) and a club whose soul has been ruptured the past 3 seasons.

Match made in the theatre of dreams?
You decide.

I was told some time ago that Jose was coming in. I've no reason to doubt that info. It's essential that all supporters back the team until the cup final is over. Then we will see change I'm sure if it. Patience is required for a few more weeks.

Without revealing your source Ken is the info given usually accurate? Hope so.

7.) 13 May 2016 10:37:07
Don't like him. Don't want him. But if he comes, I'll back him, rather than throw my toys out of the pram. Much like LVG, when he arrived. I put personal feelings aside, if it's for the betterment of the club I love.

Whether you are in the Mourinho yes or no camp I have a feeling that he and us could be the perfect storm.
A club looking for direction, a strong leader to take us back to glory. And a manager looking for redemption.
I believe we would see a refreshed Jose, a determined manager and one who actually will embrace our history.
Just my thoughts though.

HI WRD.
It came from within the club in a casual conversation.
I have not had a lot of info from him before but have had many conversations.
He is not a decision maker so it's impossible to tell but he was totally convinced and I would imagine he has very good information.
He had told me about Rashfords potential a year ago and has told me that pogba would be leaving much to his disgust (at the player not the club)
He is a coach and had been at the club for a long time.

I like your point, Brad. Both the squad and Jose have come down from past glories, and now have something to prove. That common thread could bond him to the players quickly. And he is sharp enough to use it, he will understand their mentality, being in the same boat as the players are.
