God we miss Ed002, his insights were the best. Hope he's looking down laughing at all of us panicking about our club.

Not everybody is panicking. Far from it only the silly folk.
2.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 15:39:13
Absolutely Ken. Too many people are panicking here and just getting far too negative. We have signed one excellent player, look like we'll sign another and, if we sign one other, along with shipping out a few we'll be in good shape. It's amazing to read about jealousy over Spurs spending 120M on two players when it is abundantly clear that many of those same posters would be lambasting the club for overspending had we spent that amount on those same players.
3.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 15:55:07
DonRed forget who Spurs signed. City? Arsenal? Liverpool? Have they improved? We finished 15th. With Cunha signing have me moved from 15th to the top half?

Two not that good players either, strange how every transfer that happens good or bad and they are saying we should have had him or them in this case, sorry but on there day Rashford and Garnacho are in front of these two, and I don’t even like Rashford or Garnacho, but I would rather have them two for under 100 million then these two, or either one rather than Erlanga, who talk is 55m
It’s laughable.
But of course Rashford and Garnacho are now seen as United villains, so everyone is better…folk can be a bit biased with the red tints.
5.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 16:38:04
UA, we won’t be challenging any of those 3 you mentioned plus add Chelsea to that, so don’t really matter what they done really,
6.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 16:47:25
German. Players who actually want to play for the club will always be better than those who don’t regardless of ability or potential.
IF Rashford’s head was in the right place and his heart was still in it and IF Garnacho wasn’t constantly leaking information and hadn’t gotten caught up in his own hype then yes, we wouldn’t need to sign Cunha and Mbuemo. But we are where we are.
7.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 17:23:04
Thats the spirit German. Already accepted defeat before the ball is kicked. Keep it up. No wonder we are where we are.
8.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 17:39:30
Ua. How much would you like to bet that Liverpool won't improve year on year on their epl results.
9.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 18:27:09
It's about changing the culture of both the team and club so that incremental positive steps are taken. No serious Utd fan expects us to make a challenge this year for the league title.
10.) 11 Jul 2025

UA you have to accept reality, not live in cuckoo land.
11.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 21:20:21
Salford to be honest I'm hoping for considerable improvement.
Im expecting to see players we had last season show a lot of improvement.
12.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 21:24:03
That’s it tumble us silly folk who have just witnessed the season we just have with this squad to not be slightly worried we’ve only signed 1 player with the first game 5 weeks away
How silly of us.
13.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 22:10:26
Read we signed another youngster. That’s two and both will propel us into the top 4. Also the young lad Leon and Hojlund will be a player reborn.
And wake up.
14.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 22:16:25
Yes it is silly. You appear to have very little understanding of the situation and the constraints. Things will happen perhaps not as quickly as everybody wants but they're are reasons for that.
You want perfect execution when we are not in a positive to deliver that at the moment.
We all want the same thing but stamping your feet calling out incompetence when you seem to have no understanding of the situation and difficulties is i think silly.
The players that we need to leave are holding firm for their 1st options. So are their suiters so there is no new management incompetence there.
Decent sell on money can now be banked so hopefully that's enough to move on mbeumo maybe a deal for another outs needs to be assured also.
If we only secure loan deals then it will have an impact on who we can buy. Those players and new clubs are the ones holding out.
Sign too many and don't get decent sales then we are looking at psr failure.
Im not sure what you think can be done differently right now.
15.) 11 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 23:14:37
I think it's silly that people think 3 players will make us a top 10 team given how terrible we were last year.
16.) 12 Jul 2025
11 Jul 2025 23:51:53
I love to think last year was an aberration and that these players will improve, however I just can’t trust them and have years of evidence to back that up. Sorry but if onana is in goal and hojlund upfront then we will struggle no matter how the rest do.
17.) 12 Jul 2025
12 Jul 2025 00:31:07
I don't think that's silly at all 30 to 40 more goals last season would put us in top 10 last season and further easily so without looking at the rest of the team at all these goals would put us there. I would also expect after a full pre season and a dozen games that we will see the team begining to gel and play good attacking fotball.
18.) 12 Jul 2025
12 Jul 2025 05:11:38
Ken where are the 30-40 goals coming from, or are you now being silly and thinking that just because that’s the amount of goals that Cunha and Mbeumo got for there respective clubs, that the exact amount will translate over to United…. Now who is the one being silly. Surely you know football does not work like that.
19.) 12 Jul 2025
12 Jul 2025 11:39:48
Cunha mbeuno and a cf 3 played players should bring 12 goals each German 30/ 40 goals. If those 3 didn't bring that i'd be disappointed. Try read properly before jumping up and down like a new baby puppy eog.
20.) 12 Jul 2025
12 Jul 2025 15:48:30
German, you also need to consider the number of assists players like Cunha, Mbeumo and possibly Watkins got last season. That's 21 goals they directly helped their team score on top of the 51 goals they also scored.
We could literally be lining up with a front three next season that contributed 72 goals and assists last season between them.
I think that would be a fairly safe bet to assume they will get potentially 30-40 between them this season for us. They'd manage that even if each of them had a 25% drop off in output.
We also have players like Amad who hopefully can be fit all season and should link up well with the new additions and get more goals and assists than he did this season. Hopefully Zirkzee also kicks on and increases his output.
While young Chido Obi might also start to get more game time and score a few goals himself.
If we can sign Mbeumo and Watkins this summer then I'd be fairly sure we'll be one of the most dangerous attacking teams in the league.
21.) 12 Jul 2025
12 Jul 2025 16:52:29
German do you think a new cf mbeumo if they come and cunha won't contribute 35 goals between them? 35 extra goals last season would have in all probability got us another 10 or 15 points.
Its just a guesstimating but I think conservative.
22.) 12 Jul 2025
12 Jul 2025 18:48:41
lol…. but of Cunha, Mbeumo and Watkins we have only actually got Cunha, so yes your maths is total pie in the sky, plus I am willing to bet that even if the other 2 did even arrive they all won’t score approx 12-15 goals each, we don’t create that amount of chances, the only creative midfielder we have is Bruno, Dalot and Dorgu can’t cross a ball, or are you saying those front 3 of which we only actually have one on our books are going to assist each other too, when we get the ball forward so slowly it’s unbelievable, plus the clown let's them in like no tomorrow!
I love your optimism but that’s exactly what it is, when we only have 1 of the 3 players you mention!
23.) 12 Jul 2025
12 Jul 2025 19:35:44
Im not a big fan of the idea of signing Watkins.
He is a good player and would be a good stop gap for a couple of seasons. If we could pick him up for 20m i'd say it would be good business.
If he is the best option in the managers view then so be it. I highly doubt we will pay anything close to 60m for him.
24.) 13 Jul 2025
13 Jul 2025 06:24:35
What’s all this can’t sign players for 2-3 years as stop gaps. in football 2-3 years is considerable amount of time, besides if you sign a young potential superstar in 2-3 years after he made his name he is off anyway to Real or Barcelona or maybe even PSG now! That’s a bit of a non argument and outdated by years argument really……
But of course all us fools no nothing, do they!
