Ole saying he's happy with a point.

And he's right. Because he doesn't have ambitions to win the league this season, he wants an improvement on last season, top 4 and to be in the mix come the end of the season. And if that's your ambition then the point is fine. It doesn't even matter that we've thrown away a really strong league position over the last 2 games.

And that sums up everything wrong with our manager.

Says everything about his mentality. So out of his depth it’s unreal.

We're simply managed by an average manager. Into his 3rd year and he has us playing some awful football. We win games in spite of him not because.

There is a good group of players in that squad. If a manager could get an extra 15/ 20% from them we could possibly challenge for silverware. We have a manager who has set us up to draw against every team in the top 8 so far this year.

He has been given more time than he deserves. He's a Man who know's his job is safe if we get top 4 and that is his only objective.

Ole is at the wheel driving well below the speed limit.

I agree with that post entirely mumbles. Really well put and we are totally aligned in our thoughts.
We are playing football that stinks the place up.
We have been getting points recently and the results have been good but the foundations are built on quick sand.
4 semi finals and as you say all the big league games. These are games you have to go out to win not just hope to sit deep and nick it.
When we do push on and have more possession against teams that defend well we have no plan at all and hope to capitalise on the chances we create on the break. That is our only game plan so when teams don't leave that big space we are just playing off the cuff and play in hope. Its disjointed with no cohesion. We have ground down the weaker sides and beat them. Some of them quite well but not the best sides not the semi finals.
I see a squad capable of so much more. Of course there are weaknesses but there are any amount of vidhan that could have this squad playing a more expansive cohesive and entertaining game.
The next 2 games are crucial. I hope we are not seeing the beginning of another ole tail spin.
Everton were rubbish today and Southampton not much better so we are playing them at the right time with neither team at their best either. 6 points are essential a couple of draws for example and I fear for us for the rest of this season. Once the el kicks in it will get even more difficult.
Yourself myself and so many others have no faith in this manager. I go into every game with no expectation of being entertained or of winning. I go on hoping we win and most of the time when we do win as a fan i'm only partially satisfied.

Mumbles has just summed things up, to a tee, surely any pro Ole arguments are wearing too thin now. Unfortunately, as he says top 4 will mean another year of this drivel. Settle in for years of drab football. I've had enough, don't think i will watch for a while and certainly won't pay anymore.

Ken, I always enjoy us winning games of football but as you said, it's built on quicksand. I have not seen an evolution of style or something we're aiming for. It's just very passive and aimless.

I think the manager has brought us as far as he can.

Am waiting fod someone to call us "toxic" for voicing our opinions.

Agree with you both Ken and Mumbles

Ed 02 outlined and then detailed the structural problems at the Club two years ago. Hardly anything of real note has changed. Yes we have got rid of some deadwood and some better players in but fundamentally we are still a long way of being back on the perch.

This season both Liverpool and City have been missing some of their best players for long periods and we still cannot take advantage. Both will be even stronger next season.
Chelsea should be better under Tuchel too. So next year already looks like being a lot harder to do well. Even more so if the effect of C.V. has been mitigated by the vax programme. If that happens teams will have more time to rest between matches and the good coaches more time to make their teams even better and keep their best players fitter.

Good post mates. He is a Championship level manager until he proves otherwise. I keep asking people if they want the manager of Bodo Glimd who run away with the title this year breaking records but the answer is no. So why they want Ole? It is ridiculous that the only credential for having Ole is because he is "one of is" and "knows the United way". Inless, ofcourse, United way means that you park the bus against top 8 and playing for a draw.

Agree with both mumbles and ken
.

The football is boring. The rotation every week is pointless.

Over a year without a defeat away from home, don’t watch us anymore, I doubt the club will miss you. Ever heard of supporting through the good and the bad?

Yeah guys, if you have anything negative to say just don't watch us anymore, the club won't miss you 🤦‍♂️

Come on GDS, . How about if you don't like the post, don't comment on it, no one there will miss you.

Gds2, Asusual you dismiss someone who doesn't think like you. I have supported and spent ast amounts following U ited since mid 70,s, so I have done through good and bad. There is no longer any entertainment watching OLE'S boys. He sets up to not lose, he has no courage and it appears no belief that we can be challenging. Is it any wonder the players look lost. Anyway SirGDS2 I'm sorry I don't follow your gospel, but as many of your replies, you know nothing about the people you judge.

I think GDS answered to a post, where someone said that he won't watch United anymore. Which he is correct, if someone doesn't want to watch/ support United any longer, he won't be missed. So, he didn't tell that to all of you, who have differeny opinion, he wrote it as an answer to a poat. what's the point in all of you accusing him of anything, if you haven't noticed the post he answered to? Because he has different opinion?

About the game. I don't see us setting not to lose, we had our chances, we didn't take them. When McT got injured, we didn't bring on Matic, we brought Martial, more offensive player. We had more possesion, if it means anything. We had better chances (although chances in this match were very few on both sides) .

What I didn't like was that Rashford was subbed too late, he was pretty bad. I didn't like that we pass the ball back, when we have options to go forward (perhaps that is what you guys think when you say we set up deffensively) . And, in my opinion, some players just look tired and can't give their best.

{Ed047's Note - bringing on Martial is akin to bringing on a defender though in reality.

Trololo,

I’m used to it now mate but if I point it out I’m ‘playing the victim’ so I just let them crack on.

{Ed047's Note - Jesus Christ and here you are playing the victim, are you truly this stupid! 🤦‍♂️

Just comment on a post without being an absolute melt.

Actually GDS2, i said I've had enough of the drab football and don't think i will watch for a while. I didn't say i wouldn't still be a supporter or burn my shirt or anything. Instead of having a pop at posts you don't like just ring victim support.

Ed 😂 usually, I would agree, but he was better than Rashford last night. Perhaps better than some other players too. Maybe i'm wrong, but that's what I saw 😁.

{Ed047's Note - 🤣 it was a little tongue in cheek mate 👍🏼
