somebody in italy is now claiming a deal for the napoli centre back is done not going to try and spell his name.

dazw

1.) 14 Jan 2020 16:35:05
Saw that regarding Koulibaly. Can’t see it happening at all.

2.) 14 Jan 2020 17:44:11
Easy for journos to make a statement like that knowing there will be little comeback on it, by the summer we will all have forgot his name and he can say something changed.

3.) 14 Jan 2020 18:55:00
Reporting 60m somewhere, utter bs.

4.) 14 Jan 2020 19:21:43
i only believe it when they are playing for us. it now seems as more have jumped on the story.

5.) 14 Jan 2020 20:49:20
Last summer his fee, if you can believe any paper reports, was said to be at least £90m. I don't think his value has dropped by a third on a few months and given we paid £80m for Maguire it hardly seems credible we would get a better player for only £60m.

6.) 15 Jan 2020 18:33:24
Don't both him and Maguire really really prefer playing as the left sided CB? It doesn't make sense for me.

7.) 16 Jan 2020 14:04:27
Am I being an old man here? But surely if you can play left sided centre half you can play right side just as well. It's like specialist full backs, why can't you play on the other side too?

Its the same skill set!

Bugs the crap out of me.

21 May 2019 19:21:02
hope the rags are joking when they say ashley young is captain for next season.

dazw

1.) 21 May 2019 19:43:15
How would they no that surely OGS would choose his captain in pre season.

2.) 21 May 2019 20:25:19
Club captain not pitch captain.

3.) 21 May 2019 20:35:26
Conspiracy Theories
a. ) Pogba is gone
b. ) Young is being moved into the Carrick 'Club' Captain role and will play less.
c. ) Both.

4.) 22 May 2019 05:46:47
Lindelof and Pogba.
Noone else seem to be vocal to pass on instructions or pump up the team.
Herrera had leadership quaities but he's gone now.

5.) 22 May 2019 06:08:22
Pogba has done nothing to show he is capable or deserving of being captain. On the contrary he has set a poor example by his attitude. Being vocal (running your mouth) is not enough.

6.) 22 May 2019 06:25:02
That's the concern with this squad.
There are no leaders.

7.) 22 May 2019 17:29:08
I hope shirts are burned outside OT if Young becomes club captain. An insult to the club, fans and former greats.

{Ed001's Note - just remember to take it off first Fresh!}

8.) 22 May 2019 19:12:21
A bit like some of our fans then.

9.) 22 May 2019 20:07:24
Burning shirts over a ten year veteran of the club possibly being named club captain. Reasonable response.

10.) 22 May 2019 23:09:07
Jesus RWWD, do you really think he is good enough to still be a United Player?

19 Apr 2018 23:12:09
have to laugh according to the rags we are going to sell the best goalkeeper for 100 mill and buy barcas keeper who is second rate at best for 157 mill you can not make this stuff up muppets.

dazw

1.) 21 Apr 2018 13:52:45
Would prefer to give it to Romero.

2.) 21 Apr 2018 14:17:42
I agree dodgy, Romero is a quality keeper imo.

3.) 21 Apr 2018 14:32:59
Best backup GK in world football. Fight me.

13 Mar 2018 22:28:10
been reading the posts below my gripe is wiggy dose not want to be hear and should not be anywhere near the first team. he took the place of a young lad who played well Saturday and his living his dream.

dazw

{Ed033's Note - What? wiggy's got a dose and can't hear? :)

1.) 13 Mar 2018 23:43:50
Deaf as a post Wiggy is. Someone’s had a beer.

2.) 14 Mar 2018 08:31:32
Fellaini isn't a great player but the tie was lost in Spain when Fellaini wasn't even there.

Gambling on a 0-0 draw away is a dangerous game. The advantage of playing the away leg first is supposed to be that you can go all out for away goals and even if you lose bringing back one or more away goals means your still well in the tie.

If we had a couple of away goals then I am confident we would be in the last 8 right now.

3.) 15 Mar 2018 17:17:27
Away tie aside. The performance on Tuesday was the real issue.

10 Mar 2018 22:33:43
have to laugh on the scouse page they could have had 5 pens. the ref was on there side the better team lost. joses ghastly tactics. i think jose just showed kliperty clown a lesson in each half how to score and how to defend. i do not remember dave the save having to make any.

dazw

1.) 10 Mar 2018 22:52:36
ment to say how to score against a good defense.

2.) 11 Mar 2018 14:02:31
They didn't have a shot on target second half. If it wasn't for the own. goal they wouldn't have been in it.

3.) 12 Mar 2018 03:19:35
If Mata scored in the first half, Liverpool would look like idiots coming into the 2nd half.

4.) 12 Mar 2018 10:02:41
Let them have their delusion. It'll mean they will never focus on the real issues. We on the other hand find fault in everything, openly, and this is why we will always have higher standards/ success.

5.) 14 Mar 2018 00:01:14
Roonbest61. Be careful about what you wish for.

Congrats Daz

Stay safe and hope they all stay well

I get to be a grandad in late summer, it’s going to be a boy, but the father wants him to be a Chelsea fan. I sense trouble ahead.

8.) 04 Apr 2020 16:14:03
Congrats dazw!
It’ll change your life for the better.

Red Man you should have taken care of that when he asked for your daughter‘s hand from you 😉.

9.) 04 Apr 2020 17:52:57
If he's a Chelsea fan he probably didn't ask!

10.) 04 Apr 2020 20:40:28
thanks redman and johnny. the dad is a liverpool fan but i got a united top in first. but seriously when the lad gets older he will make his own mind up. then i will have to show him pictures with a united shirt on.

11.) 04 Apr 2020 21:31:58
Congrats Daz. Its great to hear some positive news. Enjoy the little one.

12.) 04 Apr 2020 21:56:09
Congratulations, glad mum and baby are doing well. Nothing puts smiles on faces and brings positivity more than a new baby in the family 😊👍.

18.) 05 Apr 2020 19:45:28
thanks ed04.

11 Mar 2020 14:25:52
in the worst case all the football leagues and euopean copetitions get canceled this season. how are they going to decide who is in the champs leaue and europa for next season. will it be how the table stands now. in some leagues you have the runaway eaders. but teams fighting for europa with the odd point between them would feel a little agreived.

dazw

{Ed002's Note - It is the responsibility of individual football associates to nominate teams by whatever means they choose. In most cases they will simply use the table when it stopped and not assign champions.}

1.) 11 Mar 2020 14:30:22
thanks ed02.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

2.) 11 Mar 2020 14:53:00
So Ed002, are you saying there is a chance that the EPL could be cancelled and no team would be declared as champions? Even as a United fan I would have to say that would be so unfair for Liverpool who are by far and away the best team in the land this year.

{Ed002's Note - I have not said anything about it being cancelled.}

3.) 11 Mar 2020 15:16:44
i asked in the worst case shappy.

4.) 11 Mar 2020 15:23:54
Oh Shappy, I think you are being far too magnanimous.

As United fans it would be very funny and gratifying if Liverpool were not crowned champions this year.

Nevermind lads, next year will be your year.

5.) 11 Mar 2020 15:43:19
MancMan, don't worry if it happened I would find it funny and I would troll out of the Liverpool fans I know.

That said, if Liverpool were 1 or 2 points ahead you could understand why there would be no winner. But the fact that they are within 2 wins away from winning the title with 9 games left for them to play, it would be hugely unfair.

But I'd take it.

6.) 11 Mar 2020 16:24:38
Of course my first choice option would be for Liverpool to lose all of their remaining games and for City to nick it on the last day of the season.

7.) 11 Mar 2020 16:39:52
No doubt it would be a huge travesty but that would make it all the sweeter.

8.) 12 Mar 2020 07:58:52
I would laugh my bollocks off.

9.) 12 Mar 2020 14:24:05
😂😂😂😂.

12 Jan 2020 00:32:16
ed02 with sauls price at 100 mill. i was just wondering for athletic to let him go. with being one of there better players. is it purely financial or has there been a fallout with the player thanks.

dazw

{Ed002's Note - This isn't like Manchester United.}

04 Jan 2020 00:06:15
ed01 do you think united are suffering like liverpool did when shankly left. on one of your replys you said they had to stop shankly comming round. i ask because sir alex left to spend more time with his wife. he is now at as many games as when he was manager. you have ole saying i want to install the fergie factor and calling him the boss. fergies time as come and gone football has moved on. untill we get a young forward thinking manager it will be my grandkids waiting 30 years for a title. or am i of the mark.

dazw

{Ed001's Note - it is more like when Busby left and just moved onto the board and kept interfering in team affairs. It was because of that example that Liverpool's board refused to even give Shanks tickets to sit in with the staff. It is the same now, Fergie needs to take a break from the club and let it grow without him. He needs to be a legend from the past, rather than a legend still there.

It is a shame but there is not the strength of character there to put him in the shade, Ferguson is too big and bold of a character, too strong in his opinions, to just become secondary.}

1.) 04 Jan 2020 08:43:11
ED001 is Fergie actually having a say into how the club is being run then?

I just thought he was a spectator these days.

{Ed001's Note - he is still very much in the ear of the club's leadership, yes.}

2.) 04 Jan 2020 10:44:53
Makes sense know. He is a legend, but surely the club must realise the game has moved forward and so has the way of thinking. They nes people who are up to date. Sounds like how a Corbyn Britain might have been.

3.) 04 Jan 2020 10:56:05
thanks ed01.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate. It is understandable because who doesn't want advice from a legend? But that's all it should be, advice, not a plan to follow.}

4.) 04 Jan 2020 12:06:11
it looks like nothing will change anytime soon then. thanks ed01.youare dead right.

{Ed001's Note - they will probably wait until crowds drop before a change happens.}

5.) 05 Jan 2020 00:18:26
Shankly left Liverpool in a superb bill of health. Fergie? .

6.) 05 Jan 2020 05:57:51
Surely if fergie had a say with the hierarchy he would have said get rid of pogba and keep Jose last season! He is pro manager and dislikes insubordinate players.

26 Nov 2019 21:52:06
wow whos that spurs manager. we should get him won 2 games in a row. scoring goals for fun.

dazw

1.) 27 Nov 2019 07:01:31
Yeah he's just got a better squad of players to pick from.

2.) 27 Nov 2019 07:06:19
Spurs what?

Wich goals? A Defensive manager?

3.) 27 Nov 2019 12:28:34
If this was United and not Spurs, people would be saying it was only West Ham and Olympiakos, and be moaning that he conceded four goals in two games.

4.) 27 Nov 2019 14:16:25
LLV the double standards and hypocrisy are breath taking on all things United.

5.) 27 Nov 2019 15:50:56
pretty sure they are leaking goals badly like we did. difference is that spurs have a decent midfield and a world class CF. its funny how so many in the media that slagged jose are now praising him cos he's not our manager anymore (souness, redknapp etc) . As has been proven since he left, the rssults and performances weren't all on him. the sour moods, spiteful pressers, public shaming of players and the constant distancing himself from blame (football heritage springs to mind) were on him. his halo will slip soon enough though, history proves that.

6.) 27 Nov 2019 16:08:33
Funny isn't it Mort? The only difference being that the great Ole lost to West Ham. So it isn't hypocrisy.

7.) 27 Nov 2019 17:17:03
Maybe now Souness and Redknapp may consider him a friend now he worked in the media with them so may not target him as much?

8.) 27 Nov 2019 17:56:02
Football clubs lose games all the time. I've seen us have a few shockers over the years. I've seen us create 30 chances a game an the opposition keepers played like the lovechild of Banks and Yashin. Only for next match that same team gets a stuffing. So I've got patience that it all works out in the end.

9.) 27 Nov 2019 20:33:07
I think for those 2 pundits in particular they will hate on anything united.
