Mumbles, any comment on the Fred ball to set up Rashford for his goal.
Great result for us though, let's finish the job at Old Trafford.

I thought Fred was good yesterday.

What he did last night is what’s elected. I’m with Mumbles. Last night is the exception to the Fred rule. There’s plenty of players than can run and consistently pass well. Fred will never be one of them.

AaA anything to say about jed spence or bissouma this season?
Fred made a good pass we are all delighted with that.
But djemba djemba had 3 assists in 4 games at one point too you know.

I would not have altered my opinion if we had won 3 2 or lost 3 2.
I throughly enjoyed that game.
I sort of had forgotten what it's like to enjoy watching my team.
We went out with the intention of winning.
My oh my what a turn around in mentality.
Than God we have got rid of most of the people that were destroying our club and all it stood for in terms of football.
We have a lot of work to do still it's great to be enjoying watching again.

It was a very good ball AAA and he did his job very well shadowing De Jong especially the second half.

A few years ago when I posted how poor of a player Lingard was, my little stalker Slunkey Red would post a GOTCHA post every time he scored for West Ham. He hasn't posted about Lingard in a long time funnily enough.

AAA, my opinions on Fred are based on his performances iv watched over the last 5 years. Moments yesterday he couldn't complete a simple pass during a counter attack in the first half. Laying on the ground outside the box swiping his legs giving away silly free kicks etc. These moments could have cost us.

He did well yesterday I have to say. Winning the ball and man marking an opponent are attributes he excels at. But I have a huge problem watching a professional footballer unable to play a 5-20 yard pass. Even when his passes succeed, the player on the receiving end has to check their run or its never neat and tidy.

Feel free to mention me in the future when Fred plays well, it won't be that frequent.

I think he has had 1 very very bad game this season against Leeds at home, it was one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen. Fortunately next to Casemiro he looks a totally different player and that is where he’s been most of the season.

Fred first was absolutely atrocious with the ball and giving away cheap foul after foul.

Really gigg's I thought he'd been on bench must of season unless we have no other option. But he did start v Brighton and Brentford 1st 2 games.

Chris, it was the same lame excuses in regards to our previous mediocre manager and some mediocre players. Lingard got a pass because "he puts a shift in" imagine effort being enough to blind some people.

Ole finished 2nd in a 1 horse race and lost a final amd was lauded for bringing the good times back.

Fred plays a nice through ball and I'm getting called out like he won the B'alon d'Or.

{Ed014's Note - just ask him if Fred was playing for West Ham, would he be laughing or crying out for the club to buy him.

I really really hope you sign him up to a new long term contract.

Fred's now been key vs Newcastle, City, Tottenham and Barcelona to get good results and control games. Had 1 bad game against Leeds.

Who does he have to perform against for people to say "yeah he's a good player who probably should be around 1st off the bench midfielder"?

Like, where are you getting better rotation players?

Ask him yourself ed014???.

{Ed014's Note - ?? no he’s nasty!

Ed, I asked him and United Addict to pop around the other teams pages to see who would take Fred, I wouldn't imagine not many would. Him and McTominay were probably the worst pairing in the league for 2 years.

{Ed014's Note - totally agree mate and I think I was being a little unkind to West Ham!

How did we get 2nd if they were the worst pairing in england?

Look how Jesse tore it up for West Ham since you like that example, if he was so rubbish? Perhaps the standards at United are simply much higher?

Yes Ken, he’s come off the bench in most games to play next to Casemiro and has played quite well. As you well know Casemiro didn’t play against Brighton or Brentford and the whole team was poor, don’t think Fred stood out as being any worse than the others.

Fred has a wonderful infectious smile and nice teeth. That’s about all I can say that’s positive about him though. One bad game against Leeds? Not his first season here is it! He’s crap. Gives the ball away too much for a possession based team and we already have to account for Bruno being imperfect in that regard too.

We are hopefully heading into more positive ownership territory at United by the summer. Does anyone really think with an open chequebook approach the likes of Fred would still be around.

We paid over £50m for a dud. Say what you want about City but he wouldn’t have survived a season there regardless what they paid for him.
