Ed002 - You mentioned that Atletico Madrid are currently in negotiations with Chelsea regarding Koke.
Can you shed some light on exactly who United are/have been in negotiations with, like Chelsea?

That Chelsea win means Liverpool are now unable to mathmatically win the title, phew! I was beginning to worry about their comeback!

Clyne to United is confirmed!
I met Clyne's dad's mate's neighbour at my local ping pong class and we got chatting about United. Jeremy, his name was. He told me that United have signed Clyne! When I asked how he knew he just tapped his nose a couple of times.
My rumour CURRENTLY has as much truth and substance than the journalist who claims Clyne is a 'done deal'. I guess what I am trying to say is don't believe anything until it is confirmed by United.

Not that i'm saying it's true but according to a newspaper, United are supposedly out of the race for Hummels because he is not mobile enough. If this is true who would you like to see come in instead? I'd personally say Varane.
1.) It is a fair consideration, but what he lacks in movement he makes up for in positioning. I'd still take Varane over anyone though.

Without letting your heart cloud your vision - where do you THINK United would finish if they had a fully fit squad all year. Furthermore what positions do you think would need to be addressed in order to specifically win the title?
1.) I would of thought 3rd been realistic with a fully fit squad.
We lack class in central defence IMO, If we had bought a Hummels OR Godin OR both we may have been looking at 2nd.

definitely top 3 with a fully fit squad and with better team performances.
positions we need to address are CB,Holding/box to box MF, right winger and a Right back.

I totally agree with Herbie. To win the title I think we need 2 top class CBs, a RB, a DM and a winger reuse or bale caliber player.
Looking at that list it is a little depressing, but looking on the bright side we are in a better position than last year, moving in the right direction and we are half way through the rebuild.
4.) A top class right winger, centre back, right back.
I don't necessarily think we need a cm as an immediate requirement given what we have when healthy and what is coming through the ranks.
We are very one-sided when healthy and everything is down the left side, if we fix the right hand side. our strikers will score goals for fun.

I agree 3rd, and I think we may finish 3rd despite the injuries. We are a little short of the quality to win the league at the moment but we are half way through the rebuild as Huggy says. If we still lack the quality to win the league this time next year I will be disappointed though.
6.) Coleman, Reus and Varrane would be dream additions and make us CL contenders.
7.) 3rd, if we don't get more injuries.

Striker - Ings
Winger - Depay
CM - Gundogan/Carvalho
CB - Hummels
RB - Santiago Arias

Di Maria may have had some poor games but I genuinely think some of the things he has done are class. I know that his rumoured pass completion is rather low but the chances he creates and assists he makes are sublime. I believe that next season he will be on the team sheet every week and people of his ability are needed. It's just not always been so smooth for him so far.
Agreed. I put this on twitter recently. It does my nut in!
Agreed that City are off form but i'd still be surprised if we won. City jave enough quality to change a game at any time.

I believe the third kit has applied in the past for CERTAIN games. For example Ajax's home strip is White and Red, and United's home kit is red and their away kit used to be white on away days in Europe. If Ajax for example were to play their home tie in their home kit against United then both United's home and away kits would clash, so the third blue kit WOULD apply. This is obviously very rare but it CAN be the case in certain games but it is uncommon. I believe third kits should be considerably cheaper to warrant their use.
{Ed002's Note - The argument is have an away kit that would never clash. So if you have a red and white home kit, have a whole blue away kit for example.}
