Coming here after the days work is done is awesome, keep up the awesome post and good job on the eds to make this site possible.
I can't believe some folks can't see the usefullness of fella, best header and chest control in the world and we have him.a good option against anti football tactics.we play well against who wanna play football but not against the former.I grew up with cole and yorke and what a sight to behold it was but this fella with the wig can play a bit to.I have never seen a huge man like that fontrol a ball?so well except drogba and torre andre flo maybe

I for one am very excited about Fellaini being played in advanced positions, teams going to struggle that sit deep against us, against big teams he can be our plan b aslong as we get a rw with pace for those games where we need something top drawer, our midfield and defence is solid but our transition from defence to attack is slow compared to united teams that thrased arsenal mon many meetings in fergie era.I for one am happy to see that we doing the basics right but this season we wanna see a lot of the united way of playing football back excite us tomorrow for we will never stop dreaming GGMU

I don't know why you're excited, it's how we played in the latter half of last season with Fellaini as the most advanced in a midfield three playing close to the left wing knocking it down to Young. Granted Depay is more dangerous than Young, but it's just a slightly more defensive form of last year's system with two sitting mids rather than one.

2.) 25 Aug 2015 20:33:29
I would play Fellaini in that system all day long. We played our best football in a long time with him playing on the left side of midfield because he presents such a threat to the opposition and will open up space for other players.

The guy is a major asset; and I for one am glad we have him at the moment. He will win us a lot of points this season, especially as we are not going to sign anyone now - by the looks of things.

3.) 25 Aug 2015 23:41:17
Long balls towards Fellaini, fight for the ball and hope to score. i'm sorry, but this is not good fotball. Yes it got us the points and a cl spot, but you cannot win anything with this style of play. To much coinsidents, and you cannot be lucky true an entire season. Also LVG acting like a clown everytime he gets questions he don't like, sometimes i actually believes he is a mad man. Sad to see a great club like ManUtd in this state.

4.) 26 Aug 2015 07:47:55
There's a reason SAF, Moyes and now LVG want Fellaini. And it certainly isn't just the hair. People some how don't seem to see his footballing abilities. He is actually very good with his feet as well. It's not a conincidence that some of our best football last season came when Fellaini was involved. If it had been, we would have won against Chelsea as well where "the special one" played an extra defender just to mark Fellaini out of the game. Certainly he saw something that we don't. People who actually have football knowledge know how good Fellaini is.

Maybe if he cut his hair off he can run faster than an ant and we can then half take him seriously.

Hello all from wintery cape town, south africa.
Can anyone think of any other managers that has conquered europe in 3 different decades.
Ferguson won european trophies in 80s 90s an 00s.I read through his whole career trophy list and the guy was a legend even before joining united, he's like a football mozart.
He had an attacking philosophy that won teophies from the dinosaur age to modern football.he just slightly tweaked things to keep winning.what a character though that is what makes him so great.he could have won half of what he has and be a legend still.

But on the flip side he did sign Djemba-Djemba and kicked a boot at Beckham's pretty face.

{Ed007's Note - And gave Rooney a pay rise....

Sounds exactly same as UK tbf.

2.) 17 Jul 2015 11:18:45
Welcome to the site mate! It's not just South Africa there aren't many city fans anywhere. The match is early hours of Saturday morning so around 15 hours from now if my maths is right! So I think that makes it 5am kick off your time

3.) 17 Jul 2015 11:20:22

There are so many options. I imagine the most settled pairing will be Herrera and Schneiderlin with either Carrick or Schweinsteiger behind.

Fellaini will come in if we really need to mix things up and use his height (but if we get Lewandowski then even that might be redundant). Mata could come in for a bit more vision.

Blind I think will be playing second choice left back as we currently don't have one. Marcos Rojo third choice centre back behind Smalling and hopefully Otamendi.

We have so many fantastic options.

2.) 15 Jul 2015 18:00:44
Bayern's Muller up front would fit well with that set up. Maybe dreaming though.

3.) 15 Jul 2015 18:32:23
I wouldn't be surprised if Blind starts the season as first choice left back
