Poch to be the next united manager? . You know that's where the papers will go, maybe an arrangement for the summer but I can't see the board removing ole mid season unless things get even worse. Wouldn't that be a weird role reversal jose at spurs, poch at United 🤔😂.

Poch is off to Munich.

That would be a good move for him. He would stand an excellent chance of getting that winning something monkey off his back and he can focus again on improving players. Which is something that didn't really happen in the final two years at Spurs.

more than likely that's where he'll end up, you would think that this would be the time for us to move in on him but can't see it happening. no doubt another regret when we look back a few years from now.

if we lose to sheffield united on sunday though. the pressure on ole will be immense, the clamber from media/ fans for poch could be too much for the united board to resist. stranger things have happened lol.

Pochettino is a very good manager, I just don't feel we have the set up at the club currently to allow him to succeed.

Shappy- think the pochettino boat has sailed alongside the allegri one. Agree re setup or lack of it but in regards to his successor JM i reckon its a time bomb relationship with Levy and 18 months they'll be appointing someone else. Might have a cup in the bag though.

Spurs need a change in mentality, they have a good first team and a solid squad. Lloris, Vertonghen, Alderwereld, NDombele, Winks, Eriksen, Son and Kane are a great spine. With players like Moura, Dier, Sissoko, Alli, and Sessegnon they have some decent depth.

The decline for them has come at fullback, Rose doesn't stay fit enough and wants out. Ben Davies is an okay stand in but not first choice for a top team. They had Walker who was liable at the back but excellent going forward, Tripper was a poor mans Walker and Aurier a poor mans Tripper.

Davinson Sanchez is also not up to standing in for one of the first choice CB's.

While Wanyama is also a limited player and Lamela is forgettable.

However, with 3-4 top signings Spurs should be able to push on and start to challenge again. A couple of top full backs, a top young CB to take pressure off of the Belgians, and someone who can challenge Kane for a starting spot.

Imagine replacing Aurier, Rose, Lamela and Sanchez with Henrichs, Aaron Martin, Reuben Dias and Timo Werner

Suddenly they look a very good side;

Lloris, Henrichs, Dias, Vertonghen, Martin, Winks, NDombele, Son, Eriksen, Werner, Kane

with Alderwereld, Davies, Sissoko, Dier, Alli, Moura and Sessegnon on the bench.

Spurs have aging CB's and inconsistent full backs. Therefore rebuilding their defense would be Jose's first priority.

They are hard working team. A proven winner like Jose may be their first step towards a trophy.
However, this is a huge gamble.
